Love:

Dragon Ball Z - I saw one of the movies first, I saw a commercial of it on Cartton Network YEARS ago, and it was Bardock: Father of Goku, I watched it and loved it.

Hate:

Naruto - The first episode I ever watched involved some guy stading in one spot and talking for the whole episode how he was being stalked and how some ninja was going to strike at any moment. The WHOLE episode.

Love: Ghost in the Shell, Code Lyoko, Death Note, Code Geass, Eureka 7, Dragon Ball series. Oh and all Hayao Miyazaki movies.

Hate: Naruto, Bleach, the original full metal alchemist series(only when compared to Brotherhood)

Love: Monster. As I have stated before I think has some of the best examples of storytelling ever in anime. It was a very nice pick me up after Code Geass and Gundam 00.

Hate: Normally I would say Higurashi but it has the merits of being so bad that it is funny so my true hatred goes to Pandora Hearts. Never before has a series gotten me the slightest bit excited before dashing my hopes like a potters vest. The rat bastard.
You think Higurashi is So Bad It's Good [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Ptitlethsq3mffp09i?]? I can see some people not liking it, but this is the first I've heard of someone laughing at it's supposed badness. What makes you consider it that way?

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Okay, so it's a really popular one, but It's still one of my favorites. I went through a whole mess of depression issues myself, and the series really hits home for me. Also, I like how the Christian mythology was presented in a scientific view, because that also correlates with a lot of my beliefs.

Pretear: If you've ever seen this anime, then you know why. It's your typical high school girl has magic powers and there's some crappy romance with poorly designed characters and a fluffy little critter thing. It's cookie cutter anime, and the animation suck as well.

Love: Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite probably for no other reasons than nostalgia and charm, it was my first true anime after Pokemon and this little slice of historical fiction really hit it home with me. Outlaw Star is a close second because it's such a unique world with a really interesting main cast, and a neat story that wasn't too complex or stretched too thin. Thirdly is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. While I really liked the 2003 series, there's just so much FMA:B did right. Unlike the first series, this one had a more 'hopeful' feel to it but still got very dark at points, also the ending was much more rewarding seeing the Elric brothers get their bodies back and start over with the people they cared about. Besides, the action scenes were freaking epic, truly an anime masterpiece.

Enjoy: Naruto, Bleach, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, Samurai Champloo, DBZ, Cowboy Bebop and the like. They're not the greatest, but I still find them to be entertaining whatever their faults may be and they make up the majority of why I love anime.

Hate: Dragonball GT, KissxSis, FLCL and One Piece. I don't think Dragonball GT needs an explanation, but the others... ><; KissxSis was just, SUPREMELY uncomfortable to watch, it's basically softcore porn involving two sisters trying to molest the shit out of their step-brother. KissxSis would have made a good hentai or something, but as a regular anime series it was WAAAAY creepy. FLCL seemed like it's only goal was to take your sanity and raep it, really just too strange of a show for me, but I must admit, I found pulling a guitar from a 13 year old boy's skull to use as a weapon highly amusing. And I know I'm gonna get shit for this one, but One Piece is just weird. The premise of the story, the artwork, and the characters bother me for reasons I don't quite understand.

One Anime I Love: Ergo Proxy.
It will fuck you up. And it will be awesome.

One Anime I Hate: To-Love Ru.
I enjoy fanservice, mostly when its characters or in situations that I give a damn about. There is no story, and reason to give a shit about any of the characters. Worst thing I've ever seen, and I was forced to sit through a few episodes of American Idol.

Oh I'll just put one for each category.

One I liked: Higurashi. That anime had a little bit of everything. I got addicted to it after the second episode.

One I hated: Death Note. Now there is kind of a story why I hate this one. Basically, just before it started getting really popular, all my best friends were totally obsessed with this anime/manga. They were so obsessed with it that every time I saw them they were always talking about it. And I'm not exagerating when I say they were always talking about it. Not only that the conversations got rather weird at times such as in depth yaoi relations and such. I suppose my hate for it is rather premature since I've never seen it, but I pretty much know the whole story just by listening to them.

Love: well honorable mention goes to the entirity of Studio Ghibli's library (special mentions to Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away) but one specific series has to be "Wolfs Rain"... I get a surprising amount of stick from my friends for that but I stick by it, is and always will be one of my favorites. I would mention loveless here too but I prefer the Manga hugely over the anime.

Hate: Too many to mention but one Huge hate that comes to mind is Inuyasha, I tried to like it (the things we'll do just to please people when in a relationship!), I really did but ugh... even the memories burn!

Love: well I don't have any I can say I "love"
Hate: Lucky star.
It looks like somebody ate hundreds of skittles and threw them up. The jokes are hard to get and not funny. The voices sound like a mouse getting his testicles fondled by a G-Clamp.

Fair enough... Oh, another one I liked... Full Metal Panic. Hilarious.
Oh, and Samurai Seven, of course.

Love: Axis Powers Hetalia. They're SO CUTE!

Hates: The Law of Ueki. Like a parody of Shonen Jump anime (except that except for the fillers, Shonen Jump anime is good.)

The awkward animation for one and the character expressions were a big thing. The transition from 'normal' to 'crazy-eyes-angry' was so sudden and without any hint of subtlety that it made me crack up on the spot. Characters were erratic and the plot was transparent; for the first season they seem to have taken the same elements (Shrine God, He-Transferred,Loli-Abuse), mixed them up, and then made one of the central characters the arc villain.

To be honest this could have been the anime director screwing the poach from the original VN for all I know. To be honest though Higurashi has forever been tainted in my eyes by some of the worst handling for the mystery genre. Though that doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy it if you liked it.

Feel free to hit me up with a PM if you want to discuss it more.
