ATI 4870x2 Worth It?

Hey, I'm looking to upgrade my PC's graphics card, and I found an ATI 4870x2 in town for a reasonable price. Is this card worth it?

I want to play games like Bioshock 2, or Napoleon Total War, so I need a little more oomph in a card than the one I have now.

So, I ask again, is this card worth it?

Unless you know of someone selling 5850s, 5870s or 5970s at a comparable price, you'd be a bit of a fool not to grab it.

Hopefully, you have a strong power supply. A Dell 300 watt won't handle it. (for example)

It may be depending on:
The specs of the rest of your system (CPU, memory, PSU etc.)
The resolution of your monitor
and of course the cost of the card itself.

You can probably max out most games with something much cheaper and more efficient.

My Single HD4870 does me great and I'm able to run all games at max or near max (maybe without AA) at 60+ fps except Crysis. so Id say yea why not

Bear in mind you will need a good psu, I needed a 600w with enough amps for mine, id guess you may have to look into at least a 750w with some decent amps, but a good quality psu is a solid investment for any PC i wouldn't dream of putting in a generic no name psu in any pc i build
