So, just the other day my ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 graphics card driver got an update (via the Catalyst Control program, I think?). However, when I went to play Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning afterwards TF2 [http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i176/blahblah_5/2012-06-08_00002.jpg] with similar results.

I rolled back the update, and the graphics issues in the game were fixed. However I've noticed there are still a couple of anomalies, like when i left-click my volume control the sound mixer appears in the middle of the screen instead of above the task bar, and Paint Tool SAI has the menu options "Move to monitor 1" and "Move to monitor 2" when it never did before, along with menus for the program appearing on the main monitor when the program is set to open on the second.

I'd just like to know if there's a reason for these things happening, and if there's anything I can do about it. Below I'll list the specs for my computer.

Dell Inspiron 5455
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
Processor: Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500

Unless anyone else has a better suggestion you could try completely removing the ati drivers and catalyst control center. Go through both device manager and the normal uninstall part of the control panel and get rid of everything which looks related. Then reboot and reinstall catalyst from scratch.

If that doesn't help I'd look up your specific graphics card and do a search for problems with that model and the new version of the drivers.

Hmmm... okay. Well, I'm going to see if I can get any advice from actual like, tech support forums before I take any action.
Thanks for the help though.

Quick update for this thread...

I uninstalled and reinstalled everything (drivers, Catalyst Control Center), and it solved the issues I mentioned with the volume mixer and SAI. However, now I'm getting the graphics issues in games again.

Is there anything I can do that doesn't involve rolling back this latest update, or creating any other issues for myself, or what have you?
