I have been having trouble with my graphics card lately, a message pops up upon boot to desktop saying "ATI display driver is not currently running". I have checked my system info and I am using my integrated Nvida 7025 graphics instead of my AMD Redeon 6700 series. I have googled the problem and I have not found any solution I understand yet, because of this I cannot run any games as my graphics card is not being detected.

any help on how to fix this would be very much appreciated.

specs:

AMD Redeon 6700 series
8GB RAM
AMD FX-4170 Quad core processor
64 bit windows 7.

You're screwed.

Neverwinter nights (Although a good game.) is a buggy piece dog poo. It is literally *so bad mechanically* that's it's not even worth playing.

Here's your problem. The new drivers will not work with Neverwinter nights 2. So if you want to play the game. You will need to roll back your drivers.

At least that's what Nvidia says ..

I just googled the problem and I am going to try this .

"
Run Regedit (Programs -> Run Command -> Browse -> windows -> Regedit and Select your bottle) and install/change the following keys:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D]

DirectDrawRenderer=opengl
UseGLSL=Enabled
VideoMemorySize=512
OffScreenRenderingMode=fbo
"

Most likely the Direct3D key doesn't exist; you can create it in that location and then add the strings. The OffScreenRenderingMode in particular appears to be an Nvidia-specific tweak, since on ATI cards changing the OffScreenRenderingMode causes considerable skybox tearing. If I'm not mistaken the other three strings are already set by default within COG, but it couldn't hurt to add them.

I think you might be posting this in the wrong forum.
I could be wrong so please tell me if I am, but I think this would be more appropriate in the advice forum?
Since your topic doesn't really have anything to do with gaming or anything.
