I dunno. Sounds terrible really, do u qant to subject myself to a film Premiere for a film like this?

Looks dumb, but what else do you expect? It's a live-action adaption of an anime, and literally none of those have ever been good. Especially when Japan is at the helm - say what you will about Hollywood, but this one could really use some Big Budget Effects. That incredibly lame Pixels movie has better looking effects, which is downright shameful.

You watch the Rurouni Kenshin movies? Those were pretty darn good, to the point where I ended up enjoying them more than the anime haha.

My opinion is going to be extremely unpopular, but....I actually.... like this being so different from the source material. The pacing in the anime was way too incredibly slow for me and apart from the Titans themselves, I just couldn't find myself caring about anything else. I'll most definitely give the anime a proper second look through and the manga a go before making a final judgement of course, but this movie, terrible CGI and all, definitely has my interest.

Maybe, but there is a complete split in context from the anime/manga to the movie. Notice how only the specials are the only ones exhibiting specific looks, yet in this movie we have all sorts of normals doing things like splitting their jaws and ...it's just, they've ruined the atmosphere of what it was. The giant, plain bodied, naked -yet not naked- beasts aren't what they were originally.
