"Attempted Lynching" in LA

So I just found this article here about this kid who is getting sent to prison for attempting to lynch a campus officer, or something retarded.
Basically she caught some kid smoking and held him against a bus. Things got a bit out of hand with kids taunting her. But she pepper sprayed the kid who was apparently smoking,hit him with a baton and smashed his head against the bus window three times.
The kid who is being done for "Lynching" has just been standing there.

Interesting, although the article did seem a little biased in favor of Marks. I think more investigation is needed.

I say any speculation before a verdict is not the place of anyone, including anyone on the Internet, and people should let the courts do what they're paid to do.

Yeah I'm quite tired right now so i didn't fully absorb the article but apparently the female officer hadn't had much formal training I believe so she might just have over-reacted.
