This is somthing I want to get an intelligent answer to.
I am a pretty big fan of the band "Disturbed".
Also I am going to assume a majority of you have heard of them.
They have a fairly new music video out for the song "Indestructible".
I think the video and music are very good.
But my question is
What do you think the video and song mean?
here is a link---http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWRjZiXILDM

It's art, it can mean anything if the artist spent one houer writing the song.

Judging from the quotes in the beginning, and the content of the song's lyrics, is seems like a bard's song to soldiers, warriors, heroes, and fighters. It seems a blood-pumping ballad to fighters and attacks.

Personally, I got a different message from it. That message was a simple one.
That message was war. War never changes [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=RTDsqSfovL4].

I'd like to think that this is what is playing through a soldiers mind during battle, in any era.

I got that too. Almost like the singer is a little bitter.

This may be a cliche but Disturbed used to be awesome. While this doesn't out-do their absolutely, jaw-droppingly, retarded video for Land of Confusion it comes close. It sounds like an introduction for a particularly evil sonic character.

"Indestructible" is "an anthem for soldiers", vocalist David Draiman comments.[1] "It's meant to be something that would make them feel invincible, take away their fear, make them strong."[1] According to Draiman, the song also signifies Disturbed's lingering presence and success in the music industry. Draiman comments that the song "kind of symbolizes the fact that we're still fucking here, that we haven't been destroyed, that we withstood the test of time."[2] Guitarist Dan Donegan furthers this point, stating "We feel that we've become indestructible to be able to survive this long in the business, and continuing a success with it."[2] Draiman concludes, "We have been through a lot. No matter what gets thrown at us, as a band, no matter what happens in the musical environment, we're still here, we're still viable, and still standing."[2]
Thank you, Wikipedia. Another mystery solved.

asking for the meaning of a metal video is like asking for a review of the storyline of a porno movie...
