So, I decided to get a set of superior speakers for my computer for Christmas, this isn't exactly important, but its set-up info. They haven't came in, but I thought it's be a good idea to set up a surround sound system, and using the current set of speaker I have, I'd use them as the rear speakers. I unplugged them then place them in the "rear" socket on my sound card. Worked exactly as I could hope. Left played left, right played right, and the sub stepped in on the deep sounds. Happy, but lacking the other set of speaker, I set them back exactly the way they were. NOW Things get werid.
My right speaker plays Sub sounds. It now assumes I have a middle speaker, which I don't, and plays that audio through the left. My sub controls both left and right. Any ideas on how I can re-assign channels so I can get it working normally?
