When local news asked passerbys for their opinion on it the common response was "Wait, that's supposed to be art?" and/or "They spent tax money on that?!"

Somebody I know from that place said that you can barely see the bloody thing from either of the streets that it sits beside.
Pricetag? $600,000. I'd personally much rather have the giant whale balloon with inflatable tits hanging off of it.

But still, these "artists"...horrible, if you ask me. These are the things that they should do themselves rather than have tax dollars put towards. Unless the people of those towns actually specifically ask them to make such wastes of money monstrosities.
