Oh god no, I for one was glad that this stuff wasn't here as it helped keep physical copies going. I see digital as a downgrade not an improvement, especially with the fact that publishers can just remove your movies/songs/games/whatever whenever they want. *sigh*

Yeah, no. As many other people have said, since this is Australia they are still deciding which strap-on they will fuck us with, well, maybe in more eloquent words. I think they can take that strap-on and go fuck themselves.

It's going to have ten movies, two series, and broadcast in 2401, though.

Netflix seems to not like other countries.

... So since we'll only be getting a fraction of the content, we'll only be paying a fraction of the price, right?
That's cute. This is netflix, remember? I'm sure someone higher up there has the motto "cost as much for as little as possible"

What are they gonna do when they realise they waited too late and Quikflix stole their market?

Wait! You guys don't have Netflix? I did not know that. Being an internet thing I just sorta assumed anyone could get it if they had an internet connection and didn't live in a communist country that blocks it. What did you guys do to make [a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2014/11/07/economaniacal"]the world hate you so much?[/a]

Brace yourselves Australians. Brace yourself for the overwhelming disappointment when you find out how limited the movie selection on non-US Netflix is :-/
Netflix's movie selection is so bare (unless you like b-movies that a b-movie aficionado probably hasn't heard of) that it's basically only good for its TV show archives and maybe the occasional movie.

That means that unless the Australian subscription price is very low or Netflix comes through with most of the content of the US service, they should also brace themselves for being ripped off, once again, by another foreign media company. I'd bet on the rip off part.

Australian peoples will want to be wary in case this supposed cave-in turns out to be {A} a trap or {B} a scam.
