Does patrolling the pony hate make your avatar wish for a nuclear winter?

I hate to make a post just to say this, but I really lol'd. An NCR pony would most likely spend most of his time working on the nuclear winter wrap-up, huh? Now I have to replay New Vegas and come up with some good pony crossover quotes.

I hate anything with a catgirl. There's one guy with an animated catgirl avatar that really sets my teeth on edge. The guy himself is fine, and often an interesting writer, but his avatar really bugs the hell out of me.

I tend to think of people with SMT avatars (particularly Persona) to be generally awesome and at least partially decent people, no matter what they're saying. they could be posting about rape and puppy punting, and it wouldnt really matter.

I'm always surprised when I strongly disagree with someone with an MLP avatar, even though I really shouldn't be. And I always look favourably on those with an Oddworld avatar.

I hate people with mass effect avatars. I mean really? They are stupid. Its a great game but not avatar worth. especially ones with krogans.
But in seriousness. Anything distasteful. Like inappropriate sex stuff(like the stuff op mentioned)or just irritating gifs. But i tend not to judge people by avatars unless it looks like they are using it to just troll.

OT: I tend to be fine with whatever avatar people choose to use. The My Little Pony avatars don't bother me, nor does any avatar because I'm not a judgmental asshole who bases ones entire personality and morals over an image 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 pixels in size. I really don't see the purpose of this thread other than to spit hate, as is already evident, but if I absolutely had to choose an avatar....genre?

I would have to choose the avatars that seem normal, and then flash to a scary image or something completely surprising that takes me off guard. That, or the avatars that flash with many colors or just black and white, ala strobe effect.

Those hurt my eyes.

When I see people whose avatars are things people used to find moderately pleasing ninety years ago. Like that animation of a cat wearing headphones and headbanging. When I see people with that avatar my brain cries.
Also, if I see people with avatars related to 4chan, I admittedly have negative first impressions.

I'm complaining about the fact that people judge people on the escapist based on their avatars. I'd have made the same post if I had a TF2 avatar, for example. No one here is butthurt because you don't like what we like. We're butthurt because people are using avatars to judge the quality of someone's post. Dislike my avatar all you want; I don't care. Just don't discredit me and my opinions simply because I have Soaren instead of Demoman as my avatar, okay? (Note: this isn't really directed at you specifically)
