Mine's Vaarsuvius from the webcomic Order of the Stick. I choose Vaarsuvius cus 'e's my favorite character from the series. I guess I can relate to V's intellect and problem solving approach. Plus in my avatar V's just gone "POWER! UNLIMITED POWER!" and about to bring down some serious magical hurt on some poor motherfuckers.

On topic, my avatar doesn't really say anything about myself, it's just that I really like the picture and for the past few months have been going through a phase of having Awesome Face in my avatars -- kind of started after watching a certain episode of ENN [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escapist-news-network/1775-Resident-Evil-Romance], about 1:15 in.
