Avatar Issue.

Afternoon, fellow Escapist! I'm currently encountering a problem with trying to get my avatar displayed, and was hoping that perhaps there was a solution I was unaware of. The issue in question is that when I attempt to upload anything, even if it falls below the 75/75 criteria, it says it's been updated but then never actually appears. I've tried experimenting a plethora of times, but always to no avail. So finally I just decided to use one of the site-generated avatars, and still even then nothing became of my efforts!

I'm flustered, because I was actually able to update my picture at one time, but now seem completely unable too. Whatever the case, any advice or assistance will be met with immense gratitude. Thank you!

sometimes, it takes a bit for the avatar to display in your profile. Just load your avatar, then check one of your post. It'll be there.

My apologies, I should have specified that I also have given it time to display. I loaded up the site-generated avatar last night, and got on this afternoon to see that it still hadn't appeared. I'll wait it out a little more, but not sure if that will solve the problem.

Are you kidding me? That's odd... My computer honestly wasn't displaying it until I just logged in a little while ago. Well, it's now there for me, so hurray and all that jazz!

This sometimes happens when you upload an avatar. You can't see it, but everyone else can. Happened with my current one for a few days.

Ahh, gotcha! So it's still visible to others, but may or may not appear to the user. At least, until enough time has elapsed, (though I imagine it might vary occasionally.)
