Avatar not updating properly

Ok, so here's my problem. I just made an avatar of the geico money with the big googly eyes, and uploaded it. That went fine, but for some reason the site displays an older avatar of a spore creature I have on the C drive in a completly different file path from where the money avatar comes from. The one I'm trying to get to show is a .jpg picture and within the size limits, so what's the problem?

EDIT: I let it stew over night and it looks like it finally updated. Thanks for the help guys.

I had a hell of a time changing my avatar. Didn't update for over a day after several attempts. I ended up trying logging out and then back in, and after some more time it finally changed. Takes a lot of finesse or prayer or something. Probably a good bet to just ask a mod when you have troubles like this though.

You have to get rid of the cache
