AVI to MP4

sorry if this has been done

i just..obtained a movie that is in .avi format, and i want to watch it on my xbox through my network. problem is that the 360 doesn't like .avi files. does anyone know where i could find a good converter that is free?

But yes, I use that program. It's basic, and about 85% of the time it works. If it doesn't, generally something's wonky with the file.

If your PC has a 8 series or better Nvidia card Badaboom works really well I've done 50MB files in less than 2.30 minuets

They've got an entire suite of stuff you can use (including youtube downloader, Any video to mp4, a lot of other great stuff), or you can download them one by one if you don't want them all. They're completely free, get updated often, and I've never had a file they couldn't convert.

Just make sure you don't click on the ads for AVS or whatever. It doesn't work even HALF as well as this.
