Tasha smiled at David and counted to 5. [sub]" I'm doing quite well. Thank you. I was supposed to sort the library's manga sections but I guess I can't now... Hehehehe..."[/sub]. The smile turned into a knowing grin. [sub]"So do you know how long this will take?"[/sub]

David sighed. "I really don't know. The others don't appear to be very eager to..."
David thought for a moment before a small grin lit up his face. "Go to hell."

Tasha laughed. It was quiet and sounded more like he was having difficulties breathing than he was laughing though. He smiled and waited a few seconds, [sub]"Well when Mr. Gregor gave me the options I remember thinking 'there's no way in hell I'm doing the last one'."[/sub] He laughed again. Amused by his own joke.

David chuckled a bit at that. "But seriously, this trip should be exciting. I hope we encounter a few daemons... Hopefully a succubus," David had a perverted look in his eyes.

As his fellow students surrounded the gates each preparing themselves for their little "field trip" Tyler found himself in the shade of a tall apple tree. With the mixture of various stories from his friends and his own imagination his previous nights have been filled with many a nightmare about what he would encounter in the Underworld, though the cool autumn breeze seemed to lull him to sleep. As he slowly drifted in an out of consciousness he continued to wait to embark on the journey of a lifetime.

Tasha began to panic, [sub]"B-b-but... Succubi w-w-will d-drain yo-your l-l-l-life force."[/sub] He began to look around nervously.

John took note as the guide-bot began to act rather erratic. "Alright, who's messing with the bot? Let me guess, it's the guy with the maniacal laughter and the laptop out."

Reaching back inside the bot, John fiddled with a few wires around the antenna. "That oughta do it."

Turning back to David, John said, "I would not advise approaching any demons. It's going to be best to just finish up whatever task Dr. Gregor's assigned to us and then just get out. What are we supposed to be doing anyway?"

David put a reassuring arm around Tasha.
"My friend, I have read many books about the demons of the underworld, succubi being one of them. I know how to deal with them," he said with a wolfish grin on his face. Oh yeah, he thought as he licked his lips. I know how to deal with them alright.
"Hehehehe..."

"Right, David, you're creepy. Or at least very perverted."

John then faced Hataki. "Wait, why do you need a doctor's note to wear sunglasses? Do you have some kind of eye problem?"

Tasha calmed down and shook his head. [sub]"That's not what I meant. My girlfriend will murder me if she thought I was going to get in contact with them. I hope Louise can hold up to them."[/sub] He patted his left arm and grinned nervously.

David was snapped out of his reverie by John.
"Eh? Well, I don't recall him saying anything in particular..."
He put his hand on his chin. "I believe we just need to journey there and back."
He shook his head. "But it can't be that simple."

David smiled at Tasha.
"No worries. Besides, how is she gonna find out? It's not like she's stalking us..."
David frowned. "She isn't right?"

Tasha clenched his fist. [sub]"She promised... Just kidding. She's out of town this week. Family member died or something. I sent my condolences."[/sub] He grinned. [sub]"Gotcha right?"[/sub] He chuckled to himself. [sub]"That reminds me. Why are you here?"[/sub]

David shrugged. "I fell asleep during a test. I was staying up the night before reading a book."
He stretched his arms. "What about you? I know you aren't the kind of person who gets into trouble with the teachers."

Tasha raised his chin and tapped his neck. [sub]"Vocal chords were having a bad day. I couldn't talk for the entire day. Mr. Gregor thought I was ignoring him."[/sub]

"yes John, i have an extreme sensitivity to light, very annoying. Also one of the reasons i've chosen this over the other things, hopefully the underworld will be darker than here." Hataki said with a smile, then a massive bolt of electricity jumped from her right hand to the ground with a tremendous crack. "And that's why i don't make my emotions flare up and am quite all the time."

David's eye twitched at that.
"Did you try telling him what happened, or did he dismiss it as some "bullshit" excuse?"

Tasha scratched the back of his neck and looked away. [sub]"He dismissed it... But only because I didn't force the issue. Same reason why I haven't graduated yet..."[/sub] His smile grew [sub]"But this'll be fun. Tommy said he gave Louise a surprise upgrade. I just hope he didn't reinstall the rocket launcher..."[/sub]

David sighed.
"Well, if he did, it should be useful, provided that we aren't spending most of our time packed in a cave."
