"Gotcha. That does seem like it might be a problem. Makes me glad I've only got to deal with machines coming to life. Speaking of..."

John faced the guy with the laptop. "Hey, you probably shouldn't alter this thing's programming. We need it to remember where to go."

"Just a second Tasha."
David walked over to the kid playing around on the laptop.
"Excuse me," David said sweetly. "Might I ask what you are doing?"

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

[sub]"No problem. I was just going to check."[/sub] With a precise motion he grabbed his left thumb and yanked it into place in the middle of his hand. His arm then split apart revealing a holographic screen.
[sub]"Prototype XII run protocol alpha system check. Laser?"[/sub] He realized what he'd seen. [sub]"EEEEEEEEHHHHH!!! He installed a laser?!"[/sub]

"Speaking of choice of punishment, what'd you do to get thrown into this group? you seem like a nice guy."feeling the electricity building up in her, Hataki took a few deep breaths and relieved the energy. still a few sparks managed to jump around her hand.

David turned his head back to Tasha.

"Wait, he installed a WHAT?" A maniacal smile lit up his face.
"Tasha , could you come over here for a second?"

 

[Pappytech]

"Heh. Thanks. I, uh, may have blown up the science lab. But only a little bit," John explained.

"What about you? It's obvious you don't like the principal, but I don't think that's grounds for being sent to the Underworld."

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Tasha clamped his arm shut and popped his thumb back into place. [sub]"He installed a laser."[/sub] He said as he walked over to David. [sub]"Have I ever told you I don't like that crazy smile of yours?"[/sub] He gave David a muted smile and made a few signs in the air with his hands.

"Yes." David nodded. "Many times, but anyway, could you do me a favor?"
"Could you destroy that little fool's laptop?"

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

[sub]"Why..."[/sub] Tasha raised an eyebrow at his friend. It was a rather odd request. [sub]"...Should I?"[/sub]

"I broke the dress code for wearing a skirt and stockings instead of trousers, they forced me to change and found this on me." she reached into her hair that was flowing down her back and pulled out her sword.

"I made it myself when i was eight and have been modifying it ever since. with my education in electrical control through the human body, i can do this." and the entire sword was covered in electricity arcing on it.

 

[Daft Sikes]

"Actually, y'know what? Nevermind." David waved his arm. "Let's just wait for everyone else to be ready."

 

[Pappytech]

"Wait... you hide your sword in your hair? Nice." Reaching down, John patted the fencing saber sheathed at his waist. "Luckily I'm allowed to carry this one around. Fencing club and whatnot. Sadly, I can't do anything cool like flow electricity through it. Wait, that's actually a good idea..."

John reached back into his backpack, pulling out a notepad and a pencil. He began writing stuff down, muttering to himself while doing so.

Tasha smiled [sub]"Isn't it ok though? We got new computers because of that and they are pretty cool."[/sub]

"Eh... Yeah, I guess..." David sighed.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Tasha clapped his hands together. [sub]"However don't tamper with our guide. It'd be bad if we got lost. In fact one might say there'd be hell to pay."[/sub] Tasha chuckled at his joke.

"its on my back, my hair hides it." she said then put the sword back in sheath. "I love the feeling of electricity flowing through my body, so empowering. also i kind of am hoping to meet a demon down there. interesting things." she said then started playing with her fingers, jumping electricity between them.

David gave a weak chuckle in return.
"Well, I'll be waiting over by the gate, reading. You could join me if you want."
David walked back to the gate and pulled out a book.

Tasha looked around at the others and grumbled. [sub]"Nothing really interesting"[/sub] He reached into his backpack and pulled out a volume of Poni Pani Sprint and flipped it open to the page he left off on.

Finishing up his note taking, John put away his notepad. He noticed that most of the group was either reading, messing around with their computers, or just standing around doing nothing.

"So, uh, are we all ready to go?"

Tasha looked blankly at John [sub]"I am. David should be... Who else is coming? I didn't read the passenger manifest."[/sub] He checked his left shoulder joint and stretched. [sub]"Tch. There's nothing to do while waiting."[/sub]
