Tasha's frown lessened [sub]"Just be careful. That could have completely killed your touch recepters."[/sub] He pulled a rustic looking glass and poured the liquid into it. At that moment a section of Tasha's arm extended out revealing a screen. It wrote.

"ARM-Model 12 zapnutí. 20% ... Pocínaje svalové kalibrace. 37% ... restartováním laserové dělo. 88% od konecné probehnout. 100% kompletní diagnostika. ARM-Model 12 je plne funkcní. Zadejte heslo pro start-up dokoncení."
Tasha smiled and spoke "Heslo si vytvorit non-zít zivot."
The screen wrote back instantly "Toto heslo je prijato. Vítej zpet Tasha."

And with that the screen collapsed into the arm and a faint whirring could be heard within the arm. Tasha turned back and took a sip of the liquid. [sub]"I'm sorry what did you want to know was in my arm?"[/sub]

"If it had a scanner, that would be amazing. but i send more electricity though my nervous system than an average power plant does though its lines. my touch receptors are fine." And Hataki flicked her hand. "Yes they are."

she unsheathed and looked at her sword. "We're not so different. My sword is an extension of my body like your Arm is. not in the same fashion but each serves a purpose of its own. Might i ask how you acquired you arm?"

Tasha gave her a puzzled look and blushed. [sub]"Its hard to explain so... I'll show you why."[/sub] He began to unbutton his shirt, revealing a tank top underneath. That didn't stop him from turning bright red. He then poked two fingers into a latch near the shoulder. The arm fell off with a loud clang and Tasha presented a profile view of his shoulder. No scars, nothing. Just smooth skin. [sub]"I-I-I was born without m-my arm s-so... I b-built myself o-o-one."[/sub] He began to put his arm and quickly put his shirt back on.

"You have gained allot of respect from me. I won't play the pity card because i assume you've heard it so many times and you seem to be content with yourself. The story of my sword isn't as interesting."

Tasha smiled, [sub]"Thanks but pity and respect are two sides of the same coin to me, they both mean somebody cares."[/sub] He grinned mischieviously, [sub]"Besides, this arm wouldn't even have possible had I not met my roommate on the first day of school though. But honestly I wouldn't mind hearing your story."[/sub] He quietly took another sip of tea.

"Ok then, here it is." Hataki spoke and gazed off into the distance as she was remembering her earlier days.

"It started with the death of my parents. i was tossed around like a cursed object because of my mother being a succubus. I had no clue of this at the time so all this anger and hate grew inside me. My entire father's side of the family hated me, save for my uncle. He took me in and cared for me. It was also quite handy that he was a blacksmith by hobby. he instructed me and i made this sword, putting all the hate and anger into it. i like to think its where i draw most of my power from, to keep me going."

Hataki's hand traced up and down the side of the engravings on the side of the sword. "I engraved these two dragons into the side of it to remind me of myself and my origins. Two dragons, entwining with each other with their mouths biting a branch. My mother and father coming together with me being the result. who knew i'd be the first surviving halfling?" she chuckled a little bit afterwords. A tear formed in her eye, but she wiped it away.

Tasha patted her on the head. A light pat. He smiled [sub]"There there, You're here now... Nothing to worry about. You know... If it makes you feel any better... Technically I'm a halfling too, although I'll admit I'm not nearly as interesting as you were. My mother was Czech but my father was Japanese. Pretty weird, huh?"[/sub] He chuckled a little.

Yeah, but I've only had experiance with British MREs
nvm, they actually said 'NATO' on them. NATO ones are shit (except for the Tuna)...

As someone who hasn't eaten military rations before, what do they taste like?

They vary in quality and taste between each pack. E.g. - The tuna tastes like tuna in mayonaise but the Sponge pudding (with custard) tastes like a bathroom sponge with some kind of banana-rey liquid substance on it. The ones we get on cadet camp generally have:

Two main meals - shit
One Breakfast piece - meh or shit, depends what you get
Tuna - good
insta-soup - meh to good
Sweets, more sweets and a chocolate bar - good
Full tea making kit - never tried
Berry isotonic drink - okay

"I think i should start practicing my electricity some more. see what else i can do." Hataki walked away from the group a good distance and the air around her cracked to life with electricity, casting a red glow on everyone in the cave.

As the students began to settle down again a sudden crash rang out through the caverns. The goblin who had been diligently working through all of the drama had just managed to close the second door of the large gates and the portal was now shut again. The boom of the large door closing echoed down the caverns and eventually returned; the echo deep as a tomb door closing.

The cat who had named himself Ose had silently watched through all of this. However, as calm began to return he got to his paws and walked, almost stalked, towards the group. "Well that was quite the story." He said, his voice smooth and seductive like it had been before. "But perhaps we might move on." He circled the group eyeballing each one. "As you can see, staying in one place too long can be bad for... people like you."

In all of the confusion though, Umbra must have disappeared as she didn't seem to be around any more.

He looked up at Ose and chuckled weakly.

Tasha pulled another glass out and filled it with the hot tea and handed it to Harper. [sub]"There you go. I hope you're fine with green tea. That's all I made."[/sub]

Ose merely smiled a wide grin at David and his plight. "Well if you wish to stay then that's fine by me as well. I wouldn't advise it myself, but I'm only here to help you." He seemed to pause and pose himself majestically. "Really, you should feel honored to have a president of hell as you guide. Not that I can do much if you don't tell me where you want to go." His final sentence clearly containing a sugestion.

As David spoke the Tsukumogami seemed quite surprised and just a little shaken. "Hey! What's the big idea presuming like that?" It challenged. "Hey! Maybe you think you're better then me huh?"

With that another illusion appeared behind the lamp; a pair of skeletons carrying large halberds who began to menace Galio harmlessly.

"Well then lets see what you can do tough guy?" And in response to the challenge Galio could feel some of his power coming to him.

been sick for a week. not pleasant. Could hardly stad up, let alone make up woderful stories and pieces of character developement

"I'll have a cup too," Said Mak "The Goblins are horrid at it. No offence to our litle guide here." He took the cup and downed half in one go, then he took a small pouch from his coat, pulled a pinch of powder from it, and dropped it in the tea, which proceded to bubble "Little spirit powder gives it a kick. Anyone else?"

Hataki tried to create a ball of energy in her hand, it failed. she tried a second time and it was stable. she began to put in more energy to the ball and it cast red light around the cave.

Hataki spotted a pillar about four feet thick. she charged it and shoved the ball into the tree, nothing happened for about two seconds. The back of the pillar then exploded with red light coming from the inside of it.

She took a few steps back, breathing heavily from the exhaustion. she heard what Ose ha said and staggered over to him. "Pardon me if I'm being rude, but i don't bite. there have been so many weird ass things going on that i don't believe any of it. Also what happened to Hades?"

"No, no, I'll be joining you," he said as he straightened up. He stood confidently with a smile on his face for a few seconds, before doubling over in pain. "Ow."

He turned to look at Tasha. "Could I have some tea too please?"
