Awesome game commercials?

So I was watching that old Gears of War commercial again when it got me thinking of those awesome commercials that, in some cases, surpass the game itself in terms of quality. Got any favorites?

I think those Fable 2 commercials (where the dude's face kept changing) was cool. So was the Gears of Wars one which you mentioned.

The commercials I don't like are those that just show a bunch of cinematic mumbo jumbo (looking at you MMO's and RPG's!!!) without a glimpse of the gameplay.

I like the Assassin's creed II Ezio's destiny trailer. It does a good job conveyed the basic story and has some good music in it.

It's hard to top this one for its sheer epicness factor:

why is it so long? It seems unusally long.

But it is epic

ALL of Mass Effect 2's trailers were goddamn inspiring, and the ME3 reveal was, too; but I expect that sort of excellence from BioWare.

Also, I was impressed by this Crysis 2 trailer, "The Wall". Kind of a shame that, from what I can tell, the actual game's story was generic sci-fi. The trailer makes it look like a story about the human cost of war, an angle that I think games could do a lot with.

Not sure, really. To be honest, I wasn't even born yet when this commercial was aired. Perhaps TV networks allowed for longer commercials back then if companies threw enough money at them. Atari was king back then, so it could afford to do just that.
