Well, in Norway, a Death Metal band named Keep of Kalessin is in the finals of the Norwegian Eurivision-thingy.
And actually they are pretty big in the world of music, since they're under Nuclear Blast Records.

I must also add that the Norwegian film "Død Snø" by Tommy Wirkola is pretty god damn epic

Herring sandwiches! Oh and music, culture. One thing that isn't so great is alcohol prices. Also really like the naming structure. We have the same here in Wales, but it is far less common. Just found out that only happens in Iceland and Faroe's now. Maybe it is more common here than there now!

Scandinavia is awesome because of it's high living standard and good healthy people, at least form what I hear. Don't know anything good that comes from it though, unfortunately.

I figured out why all Swedes are blonde: it says so in our passports. My hair is reddish brown, but my passport says "medium blonde". My husbands hair is the colour of dark chocolate, and his passport says "dark blonde".
