Post your favorite or Memorable Cinematics, I got two that come to mind

First the warriors Orochi opening, it starts off elegent but then it gets faster and faster and soon it explodes in awesomeness...gameplay however was subpar and the story was like a bad crossover fanfiction but it was fun

Second is the Final Fantasy 8 Opening....just wonderful

It starts off with a Choir and it sounds just brillent, and then, it goes darker and soon we see sword fighting and images of whats to come, a duel between two rivals and blood is lost.

Quite memorable, and given that this was on a Playstation 1, I mean the graphics, seriously Playstation 2 like once you think about it....damn its awesome

Pretty much every cut-scene in Bayonetta.

A lot of stuff from Metal Gear Solid series; the MGS2 opening and MGS3 ending are epic.

The Ghost in The Shell game opening I remember playing the demo all the time as a kid... just for the opening...

I played through FF13 and i can barly remember the plot ((being a bit dramatic with that)) but what i do remember clearly was the scene when everything turns to crystal. ((early disk 1 i think it is.))

I get laughed at for this but my favourite animated cinematic in a game is still the opening cutscene of Vandal Hearts 2.
However my favourite cutscene is still Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge's gleefully bad opening.

Generally Fallout cutscenes i feel are very good and immersive..

Also, there has been quite a few epic Devil May Cry cutscenes also..

Gears of War has some nice ones, the opening for both Borderlands and Left 4 Dead (1 and 2) stick in mind also.

This scene was what made Halo 3 great, it was also the pinnacle moment of the Arbiter's awesomeness. I watch this scene so many times, I love the shot layout, I love the music but most of all I just love the irony that rather than the UNSC who are the direct enemies of the Covenant it was instead the Arbiter, the blade of the Prophets, who killed the last Prophet and brought the Covenant to an end.
