Hey guyss.

Let's face it, most of us who want them will probably have a kid, or kids, in the future, but have you guys had any ideas as to what you'd call them? Maybe the thought's never crossed your mind?

Would you give it a 'normal' name, or maybe something a bit exotic?
Maybe you already have kids? Wanna share their names?!

Do you even want kids? How many would you want? Boy(s) or girl(s)?

Bwaaaaah so many questions.
Personally, I'd want 1 kid, maybe 2 maximum, probably because I myself am an only child.
No decent boy's names really come to mind, but I like 'Minerva', 'Persephone' or 'Rowena' for a girl. *Shrug* xD.

Gogogogogogogo!

When I eventually have a kid, I want a girl, and I want to name her 'Aby'. I like the name...

I hate kids. I hate them with every fibre of my being. I hate them more than I hate the sound of polystyrene, and I hate that A LOT.

Needless to say, I don't intend to ever have kids.

Malakai and Gilgamesh if they're boys. Because I can.

Adam and Amy if they are male/female twins.

I'll probably refuse to have children due to my massively shitty genetics, but hey, a man can speculate.

Nawh fair play. I normally despise children, but I can cope with ones of my own I think haha.

And no I haven't, I despise everything Harry Potter related haha. Why, are they character's names or something? xD.

my girlfriend has blocked my suggestion of phranc (pronounced frank) as a name, which i think sucks.

for actual names i would call them something normal like George or Emily seeing as that will make them unique amongst all the spastic names people are coming up with.

Oh coolies!! Ok. Well, I would have to go with normal names. Nothing against the more exotic ones, but they just seem more respectable in my opinion. I have a few ideas for names, both boys and girls, but I know for certain that if I had a son, I'd name him Clark. On that note, I like the sound of three kids. Seems like a good number.

That being said, lets make that list!

Boys
Hal, Damian, Alan, Jordon, Eric, Jon, Bennet, Sam, Nate, Ira

Girls
Drew, Robin, Rose, Lily, Ivy, Diana, Stacey, Iris, Alexandra, Emily, Evelyn

Yeah, they're both characters in the story. Thought you may have gotten inspiration from that. M'bad.

And FYI, if you ever find a child made from polystyrene, please burn it on my behalf. I'd do it myself, but I'd be preoccupied with crying in the corner.

I would be a terrible parent, simply horrible.

That said, I'd give my kids equations as names.

"Hey, 3 x (d + 4) - 11 = 321 - 23, it's time for supper!"

I named my starter pokemon David Jr. three times over(regardless of gender) for the hilarity, though I'd never name my kid [insert name] Jr./2nd. I think I would go with Mark for a boy, and Mark Julie for a girl.
Also, because there's no situation a louies ck vid can't help with in some way,

No sweat xD. Should really give HP another go sometime. Bleh.

LOL I shall, what a vile creature that'd be. Although, aren't polystyrene fumes toxic?!
Even in death it shall cause distress and harm! We must throw the heretic in the depths of the darkest dungeon, never to taint the outside world again!

I'm lazy so I just pick Casey for either gender

Or I could be cruel and name first born "Big" and second born "Little" - with my last name it becomes "Big Cooke Little Cooke" (which minus the e on Cooke is a terrible kids tv show here in the UK)

I myself have a pretty damn weird name.

OT: hmm, I certainly wouldn't want to give them 'normal' names, but I wouldn't want to give them something they would be ashamed of.

You have to keep in mind that they may not like the things you do...

Even so. If not much changes between now and then It would be a real struggle not to call a girl Teresa/Clare/Miria/Ophelia - actually, just a lot of names.

Personally, I think boys names are more touchy, because it's somewhat acceptable for a girl to have an odd (read: beautiful) names, not so much for a boy to be called something like the Gilgamesh I read earlier in the thread.

[sub]This is all in the hypothetical situation in which I have kids, of course[/sub]

Theodore. Maxwell. Wolfsnark. Huntington. Philip. Sir. Master. Scrambled Eggs. Yeah.
I can't think of any girls names, so I'll leave that to their mother. :/

Hopefully if they ever get bullied they'll have inherited my common sense and charisma, and if not, they'll at least be able to beat the shit out of them with a stick.

I just had to post this up. Whoever her parents are, must either have a very sick or brilliant sense of humour. Escapists, I present Deal or No Deal's Polly Esther Cotton [http://au.tv.yahoo.com/deal-or-no-deal/video/-/page/2/]
