My practically new table oven just broke down, i dont know how to feel about it, on one side i now have to buy a new one, on the other side i get to buy a new one, it was complete crap, i had to turn whatever i was cooking (alright it was pizza) every 5min or it would come out raw/burned.

so im asking the experts, which i figured would be single men, what oven should i get, im looking for a somewhat small one, so that it can stand on my fridge, it should have central heating so i dont have to turn my food, and at least one hotplate on it, price is not that important since Christmas is coming up and my sis just won the lottery, my grandma got a huge insurance compensation and my mom got a raise and is expecting a big ass bonus, and im still unemployed so im pretty sure i can guilt them into any model no matter the price.

I use an actual oven and stove. I know, strange, but I actually cook for myself.

Other than that, any nuker will work.

Toaster oven?

I just look for the *decent* ones at a yard sale or thrift store.

Lots of people buy/gift them, and then don't use them , I guess.

*Looks back at OP* Lottery? Bonus? Raise? You could probably afford to have a troupe of performing slaves bake you a pizza, using the Shroud of Turin as firewood!

DéLonghi EO1258. (or better) That's the shit when it comes to these things.

- 12.5 litres oven capacity
- 5 cooking functions: convection, grill, lower heating element for delicate cooking, fan oven and defrosting
- ?Non-stick? Interior: easy to clean
- 2 different levels of cooking
- Internal light to monitor cooking process without opening the door
- Rack slides out automatically when door opened
- Adjustable thermostat from 60 to 230°C
- 120-minute timer with auto shut-off and ready bell to programme cooking time
- Accessories: bake pan and 2 wire racks
- Removable crumb tray for easy cleaning

I think they're about AUD$200

cool story bro, and so do i, you see they usually have 2 plates on them and a oven, the only difference is that they are smaller, i live by myself and don't need to heat up such a large oven just to make a one serving dish, and its not a microwave oven, here's a picture of one http://bit.ly/cnnf1H .

Alright, you can grill pizza. I know it sounds imposable but trust me you can. If you have a grill you can grill every and anything.

i once knew a guy with a mindset just like yours, every time i was over at his place he grilled, even if i prepared and brought the food, food i thought was ungrillable (added it to the dictionary, im certain i will use that word all the time) he found some way to cook it on the grill, and i effin hate grilled food, its always smoky and crispy, even if its "perfectly" cooked (according to the grill masters) it still tastes like burned chips.

im a frying man, it stays juicy and you can get it just like you want, the worst thing is when people grill chicken breast, you can see all the juices flood out of it, leaving it so dry that you have to drown it in ketchup or it will cut open your mouth, having said that, it does work for preparing a entire pig.

Even soup?
Bowls work wonders for that.
But that's just boiled.
It actually works really well. I've noticed a slight change in the taste when I make my soup like that.

That said, the ingredients of the soup can be grilled, even if the soup itself needs to be boiled. Ever had grilled chicken breast soup?
