Backup Internet names

Whenever you go to sign up on a website you obviously have to have a username.
but sometimes that name is busy and i was wondering.
do you have any backup internet names just in case or do you just have your regular name but with numbers at the end.

Actually one day a long time ago i sat down and made some using Wikipedia's random page feature.
Ex : CoordinatedPark, NoisyBones, MercyBow, DangerPlanning and HazardusAging
however i am saving the best ones for me

Well, I use my real name online, because despite being English my name is Serbian (yes, Trivun is my actual first name). So usually nobody else has my name (I am literaly the only person in England with my name, though it's fairly common in Eastern Europe), so I have zero problem with using it for online stuff. If it is taken, then I just use my Youtube name (crispymongoose), or add numbers to the end...

Usually just my real first name. That, or I go with the absolute worst name I can think of.

I tend to just use a slightly altered version of my regular name.

Those came straight off the top of my head and i could probably think of two dozen more at least.

I avoid numbers like a bloody plague, but if need be I just go to my WoW characters and steal their names.

I tend to alternate between either Righteous One or Boredlord depending on what I feel like at the time.

If Neonbob is taken, I go to Cystematic or Cystem. If those are taken, I don't bother to make anything else up.

I slam a 'v' on the end. I have no idea why the hell a 'v', and not something maybe a bit more coherent, but it just works.

According to Google I am the very Maddest of the March Hares. There are Mad March Hares, but none can claim the title of Maddest from me without a fight!

Should that change, however, then I default to Tortiel. I have never seen another Tortiel.

I can usually get khaimera since its random and meaningless. Sometimes I will just use my dog's name, Blanket.

I don't really need backup internet names, because I stick to fairly unique ones that are extremely unlikely to be taken. For example:

YeOldeSierra: Previous username on the internet and on my Xbox 360. If I have an account made before September 2008 or so, then it more than likely has this name. It relates to my favorite car (Ford Sierra - no, I don't know why either), and also a group of friends and I used this prefix.

xMP44x: Links to my Xbox profile's new Gamertag. xMP44x Paul, but I drop the Paul on the internet to make it shorter. It looks fairly unique too.

If I can get an 'original' username though, I'll go for that. For that reason I occasionally try the name 'Blitz' or 'Paul'. Normally though it's one of the first two names I use.

I haven't really had that problem but if it does happen i usually go with a name from whatever Game im currently playing or Manga im currently reading.
