Alright, now that the multiplayer beta for Bad Company 2 has officially closed (or will by the end of today), what do those of you who were lucky enough to get it think?
To me, it's fairly obvious that it's trying pretty hard to be CoD4, with the perks, the dedicated knife button unlocks, but somehow it manages to feel unique (it probably has something to do with the fact that you can drive a tank through a wall).
Some weird stuff I found:
1. You can blow out walls with the power drill. Sure the "microdestruction" is cool, but the fact that you can destroy an entire wall in a couple seconds with a drill is bizarre.
2. There's a glitch where you spawn underneath the floor of a building, with no way out. I have seen this twice, once when it happened to me, and once when I was killed by several people exploiting it. When you spawn under the floor, the laws of grenades bounce off of solid objects seems to be repealed, and one can shoot at people overhead as well.
What did you (if you got it) think of the beta?
