Bad Company 2

First off, no this is not another one of those anti-MW2 pro-BC2 instead threads. I'm more just confused about Bad Company 2. If I remember right, the trailers for the first one were all just kind of making jokes with spoofs of MGS and Gears of War (don't have a 360 or PS3 so never played it), but everything I see for BC2 looks... serious. I mean it looks amazing, and I'm glad it is coming out on PC so I can play it, but is this one going back to the traditional serious type war game or is the single player still kind of funny?

It does look like a serious warfare game, and it does look very good. Personally, on the matter of the "anti-MW2 pro-BC2" threads, I don't know why everyone is comparing the two... If any of them had ever actually bothered to play the game, they would know how much fun it is. I'll admit, after the shit IW dropped on our (PC gamers) heads, it seemed like it was doomed; I played it on my mates computer the other night however, and it is fucking amazing. A-MA-ZING. The matchmaking system works very well, it took about 10 seconds to find a full game, and from then, there was no lag, and a lot of fun.

Sorry, I just went seriously off topic, I just had to mention that. More on topic, I'll restate that the game looks awesomely good, very promising. I haven't played the first one, so I wouldn't know how it could of been considered somewhat humorous; the 2nd one looks serious though.

I agree, the game looks amazing though Dice hasn't released dick all about the singleplayer campaign except for the fact that there will be one. Regardless if it's serious or not though, I'm sure it will be great - worst case scenario is I play Bad Company for a comedic singleplayer

I'm pretty sure Haggard is still in it, and I can't imagine the game being serious AND have Haggard. I wish people would stop comparing the BC2 and MW2 as well, they are too different to compare.

Yeah, guess comparing BC2 and MW2 is like L4D vs Killing Floor. I do hope this one is still funny though, the world needs more funny games.
