So, this morning I had some sort of malware kick my computers ass, it rained on the day of the town parade and I found out someone marked my car. So today I basically went from fixing my computer, to going out to enjoy the parade (just as it started to rain) and then coming home to find out that some one pounded my car with...something 30+ times.

Any tips on how to cheer myself up? Without the use of drugs/alcohol/women?

Also, since you are here, you can relate to the Escapist your case of baddayitous.

Edit: I just had a few minutes with the pure awesomeness that is my dog and I'm fine now. So don't worry about me :D

As weird as it is, I spent a year believing that it was impossible to feel sad or depressed while listening to That Handsome Devil. I was never proven wrong.

May as well give it a shot?

Go over to Forum Games and waste an hour or two.

Or... go to www.thatguywiththeglasses.com and watch Nostalgia Critic.

Or... watch the entire Doomsday Arcade series.

Music always cheers me up. Try some feel good music and just chill for a half an hour. Ignore everything else. Just you and the music.

Go Surf the Web for comedians, that always cheers me up, that or go get some deep words of wisdom form your Sage, or whatver it is you have.

I dont have bad days, i haven't had bad days since about a year ago, Since then my days have all been boring and uneventful, Huzzah?.

I was held against my will at knife point and forced to do things by a person I thought was my friend when I was only 13.
That really makes my bad day seem petty in comparison. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you!

Watch some comedy, talk with friends, listen to some enjoyable music.

That's all I've got.

If your walls don't matter to you buy a box of crayons and go nuts on every surface available, cleanup is hell but it's fun as hell while it lasts.

My worst day?My girlfriend of two years who I loved more than life itself(she stopped me from suicide, and I got her off drugs.)agreed to marry me then a month later she abruptly left me for her first "best" boyfriend who abused her,and she didn't have the nerve to ask him out so she slept with his friends. And if what I've seen is true she's back on drugs.

Sex or Furious Masturbation. It releases all sorts of goodness into your system. I guess the sex part is out.

This might not seem bad by comparison but it's 2:30 am and i just got in and i'm drunk. On attempting to draw the curtains, i ripped the curtain rail off the wall and it swung round knocking my whiskey off the side and smashing the glass.A big chunk of plaster has come out of the wall too. Plus i cant shut my curtains now. Also in a few hours i'm gonna wake up with a stinking hangover,. The day is only 2 and a half hours old, yet it's all downhill from here. G'night everybody ....

^_^ It always helps me feel a little better. Also, remember, when you're on rock bottom, there's only one way to go.
I've only chipped the crust of the planet that is despair, I'm fortunate enough to never have reached the core. I hope I never can say I was there. Being an optimist is the way to go though :D

The damage on the car was, for the most part, superficial (it just makes me furious to think someone targeted me) and I was uber lucky with the computer problem. Luckily I managed to kill the power before the harmful processes really kicked into gear and removed it with my anti-malware programs. Paranoia finally paid off!

Remember kids, update your defenses regularly!

My personal recommendation for a bad day is a dose of ZP. Yahtzee NEVER fails to make me feel better.

*HUGS for the OP and everyone else having a bad day*
