We all have games we love and hate but what about the games you HATE and keep in your collection anyway.
Deadly Premonition is one of my favorite games of 2010 not because of the gameplay, The charcaters are awesome and the story while cliched is fun enough to keep me entertained for 10 or so hours, I had to import it since the little bastard wasn't coming to Australia but yeah.

This makes no sense. You say this is about games we hate yet keep in our libraries, then talk about your favorite game of 2010? Dude, wat?

Earth Defense Force 2017

It's an absurdly bad game and I don't know how it ended up as a physical release but it's fun as hell blasting away at giant ants in a totally destructible environment.

Too Human! If you like micromanaging equipment, dying alot, and a terrible camera. Oh and the plot stops halfway through.

Have you played Deadly Premonition? It's utterly terrible in every way but oh so brilliantly compelling.

Sengoku Basara might be worth buying because of its ridiculous and over the top interpretation of Feudal Japan. One of the main characters wields six katanas at the same time and his horse has motorcycle handlebars. Its awesome.

It's like Madden, only you can rupture their star player's testicle if they become too much of a nuisance. But you better watch out, if they break your ribs you might be out for a full 3 plays. Also, they have the guy from Mad TV that always pretended to be Madden doing half of the voice overs. It is wonderful and awful at the same time.

Eternal Sonata:The gameplay is repetitive, the story shits all over itself near the end,and it's linear as hellbut dammit the soundtrack is excellent and all the characters bar Salsa are enjoyable.

Also Wild Arms 4 and XF so I can save at least one person the pain of those games.

Dark Sector is actually worth the $6 bucks it now costs. It has the same issues as Too Human to an extent (garbage considering its super-long dev cycle, some awful mechanics, etc.), but it's actually a lot fun at times, especially for the price of a sandwich.

Turok: Evolution. Awful game. It does so many things wrong. It is just not a quality title. And yet there will always be some part of me that says, "Hey, you know what? I'm playing a game where I get to shoot lasers at dinosaurs! THIS IS ALL I HAVE EVER DREAMED OF! Now shut up and let me fry this stegosaurus."

In all seriousness, though, the first game was a million times better.

Well, Resident Evil zero.

The plot of RE-games is usually enjoyably bad anyway, and that one is just a completely unnesessary prequel that explains nothing and only adds plotholes. Not to mention the gameplay was the same thing we had seen in every previous main title of the series, with the same puzzles and even stupider architecture.

Still, it had Wesker and Birkin sitting together in a dark room watching tv. And a guy made of leeches.

So I guess that justifies it's existence?

Warhammer 40000: Fire Warrior.

This game has a lot of problems but I just can't get rid of it or ven stop playing. I just love the design of the levels and the enemies and the cutscenes and voice acting are great. Sure a fire warrior wouldn't stand a chance against a squad of space marines, sure the bolter doesn't shoot flaming explosive grenades, sure raptors don't really sound like monkeys, but it's still fun nonetheless.

There's this game called Gungrave for PS2, later adapted into an anime series. It's honestly not good. It's like DMC, if Dante didn't have any acrobatic moves, moved about as quickly and fluidly as a tank and said nothing during the entire game. So it's basically walking and shooting. It doesn't exactly look great either. I couldn't, for the life of me, come up with any reason to actually like it. And yet I somehow played through it many times. It also managed to somehow score a sequel.

On a sidenote, the anime is basically nothing like the game, apart from the setting and the characters, and is actually kind of decent.

- 7 Sins (PS2) , Too sexist and to me i had a few laughs at the start but since then its just bad
- Star Ocean (X360) , for me..I absolutely HATE the graphics the story is good but having to watch the same stupid graphics SQUARE-ENIX ..for shame
- Goosebumps Escape From Horrorland (Win95)So damn easy, and excuse the poetry but cheesy also..
- Fusion Frenzy (XBOX) only time its good is when you have friends over or are really mad drunk
- Aztec Adventure (SEGA), controls are jittery and the story is lame
- Any sports version for SEGA vs NINTENDO or MARIO vs SONIC franchise... they run out of ideas?...time some time to think of a reall plot!!!
-Eternal 'Freakin' Sonata,(X360) i swear i was doin the same thing over and over till my eyes bled.
- Dark Void (X360)..............NUFF SAID.

each of these games have driven me to insanity but they did make me finish them at least, each has only a small detail about them and the more you play still doesnt get rid of that..each of these needed to be kicked up a notch

Minority Report, Malice, and Fugitive Hunter.

Minority Report was actually very fun in my opinion. You got to use sick sticks and the physics were really fun to mess around with. Ecspecially with cheats on.

Malice was short, simple, yet interesting. You could say it was creative, it kinda was...I guess. It was odd I'll give it that.

Fugitive Hunter has the worst controls since Goldeneye for the PS2. I can barely aim, but I keep it because it's the only game where you get to get into a fist fight with Osama Bin Laden.

Huzzah! Another fan of Eternal Sonata. One of the only JRPGs I'll ever play, mostly because of the sountrack. Its brilliant.

That's my answer, by the way.

Dark Void is that game for me. Reasons to play it: Jetpacks(!) and a soundtrack composed by the the guy who did the music for Battlestar Galactica, Bear something-or-other. It's not a horrible game but it's still pretty bad.

Wait a second. If a game is fun how can it be bad. A bad game is not fun. Sure EDF was cheesey as hell, terrible graphics and had some of the worst VA in history but it was fun. Mindless bug killing fun. Just because it was a budget title with no investment in production doesn't make it a bad game.
