Biting my fingernails and fingertips are probably my worst habits.

I also have a bad habit of shouting at the TV, particularly adverts or historically-innacurate movies. I almost burst a blood-vesel when I watched Braveheart and Pearl Harbour

I bite my nails alot and pull my hair out one stand at a time. The hair thing varies from not at all to a lot but the nails thing is almost constant.

On a less irrelevant note I also make fun of people I talk to a lot whilst talking to them. It makes them laugh more often than not though so I don't know how much of a bad habit it is but I also tend to ruin friendships for no good reason. I think the two might be related. Not sure though.

Oh, and I talk during movies. Not at a theatre (unless the movie is just that awful that it requires comment) but at home or at someone else's house.

I relentlessly insult people when I'm talking to them, even though I don't really mean to. I don't know why exactly.

Also, I'm fucking addicted to Ben And Jerrys. Specifically Cookie Dough.

However, since I've started eating it loads, I've actually lost weight. How the hell does that work?
what Exactly do you mean, like how do you insult them?

I have to pace around when I'm thinking hard
I often fall asleep leaving at least one appliance in the house on (usually the t.v.)
I doodle in class
I'm almost always doing something with my hands
I'll agree to do something, then forget about it for the rest of the day (typically the dishes)

i get a stutter when i am nervous. not really a stutter, i just repeat the first word in the sentence 3 or 4 times until i am sure what i want to say in the sentence. something like "we- we- we- should go to the diner for dinner". i have worked on it and am better now, but only if i really focus or i am drunk. i also sing songs, especially at work. i developed this bad habit to hide the fact that i talk to myself when frustrated. anyone looking on can't tell if i am talking to myself or just singing an angry song.

I chew on my lower lip until I tear skin off/bleed. It's really something I need to get under control. I think that's really about it. I don't consider cracking my knuckles to be a bad habit.
Wow, you know, I'm the only person I know who does that. Kinda glad to know it's not just me, lol... but seriously, it can get pretty bad.

Aside from the lower lip thing, I often walk off with a bag of chips or something along those lines and never return it, I double-dip, and I chew my nails.

edit: I also sing along to songs I like, doesn't matter if people are around or not... which I guess means I like the sound of my voice, but what can I say? I like me.
People just /say/ double dipping is bad. It can't actually spread germs or anything. xD At least according to the Mythbusters.

Mine is that I often crack my knuckles when I'm bored, which wouldn't be so bad except that sometimes it can bloody well hurt.
I've been told before by numerous roommates that I crack my knuckles in my sleep...

My other bad habits include procrastinating, and I chew on my lower lip as well, mostly when I'm stressed out. Also I tend to eat when I'm upset/stressed/bored. I'm not fat by any means, but it's still not healthy.
