Also, Marathon, Lightweight, Commando Tac Knife. Pisses EVERYONE off.

Maybe not adding a fire selector to the weapons, and if they do, they best make the fire rate options realistic to the weapons. It makes the entire communtiy 13-20 years olds yell "I could be well good in the Army, I've not touched a gun, but COD will tell me everything. No your wrong, the M16 ONLY fires 3 rounds at a time" like ignorants.

when making an FPS it's generally gunna have a war-ish theme.. just saying..

I've come to realize. And it's slightly annoying. I am sure SOMEONE can come up with an original FPS game. The main character doesn't always have to be some kind of soldier.

To please the fans of Modern Warfare 2 that truly enjoyed the game for what it was and found no faults with it, MW3 must kick it up a notch. Skill must be taken completely out of the gaming equation, replacing it all with overpowered weapons, attachments, and perks. No longer will pesky details such as aiming and strategy get in the way of your knifing sprees and grenade spam.

Remember they have to make glitches out of trying to fix other glitches and then never fix them.

Call it Modern Warfare 3: Future Warfare. Make it about a cybernetically enhanced space marine fighting to protect Earth against an invading alien force, guided by an AI that lives in his helmet.

Something about that seems familiar...

Also, I'm not sure there is any way to improve a franchise of such, um... well it's a bad game. I wouldn't know where to begin to improve such a thing.

Player A can already kill a lot of people without being killed in turn - so why give player A more tools to do it?

IMO this just widens the gap between the average and good players, and those who need a little help not only don't get it, but the guys that DON'T need help do.

This is the very reason I never even considered buying MW2, and won't consider any other game that gives killstreak rewards. If that means no more FPS games for me, so be it.

Killstreaks in other games such as Call of Duty 4 and World at War are nowhere near as overpowered as the ones in Modern Warfare 2. In the upcoming Black Ops, killstreaks will be harder to get and will be less powerful. Kills resulting from them do not increase your killstreak, so it will take actual skill to get them.

3 killstreak = Explosive RC car. Yeah =/

Modern Warfare 3 must go beyond simple Tactical Insertions and Care Packages to satisfy its younger fanbase.

Or it shouldn't. Its an 18 game people, as much as no one listen to the rules, they shouldnt taylor an adult game for the younger people.

As for the orignal post, take cod4 and put new maps on? or have every gun avalible from the start, but there all the same in terms of balance (just different styles).

OR

Have a Battlefield/moh style level up, where you have to use the machine guns to unlock the next machine gun, meaning you have to use the crappy shotgun before the amazing one.

Have level caps in games, theres enough people on the game as it is, allow the user to select what levels he plays with (within his range, not just level 1's)

Make the games longer (this is just a personal gripe of mine) Especially S and D matches

Giving somebody the idea that making yet another generic brown fps with zero meaningful plot and an online fanbase consisting mostly of 13 year old dipshits who are in dire need of a good beating is a good idea.

Make a "Captain Price" perk that enables you to withstand .50 caliber sniper rounds to the mustache. Also, the perk should instantly impregnate the wife, sister and mother of any enemy you kill with a knife.

And whenever a multiplayer match ends he shouts, "We are LEAVING!"

I'm so tired of CoD, trouble is the franchise will probably carry on until i'm 80 (which is a long way away).
My suggestion would be to not create MW3, and make a game that is actually good.
Or do make both MW3 and a good game, the noobs will migrate to MW3 and the others will play something else, probably a game worth playing.

Also, I get so annoyed when people bash 13 year old. Sure I hate most of them too, but I am one. We're not all like your preconceptions of spoilt illiterate cry-babies (Chavs, to english people).

It's unsure of how effective that will be. It can be easily shot, and looks hard to control, so going into a building around corners should be easy to avoid. It'll likely only be good for taking out guys who are wandering around in the middle of nowhere like an idiot. Plus, you can easily survive getting hit with that using the Flak Jacket.

#1.The russians have an ultimate super Godzilla weapon that destroys 86% of America. Damn Russians!

#2.You play 30 different characters. 28 and a half of them die. You also strangle the final boss with your entrails.

#3.You shoot up five airports in this game. High-Five!

#4.Sex minigames....in first person!

#5.Captain Price dies and you get a mustache transplant that enables you to fly, scream so loud it tears off people's skin and your mustache is so super cool, it leads to #4.

Any good designer knows that ass-seeking dildos can significantly improve any game, and we'll make a fortune from both the 13 year olds who can't stop laughing at the idea of a dildo gun and the 13 year olds who spend every minute of every day exploiting the cheapest ways on how to use such a firearm..

With at least a 30-round magazine, and a tiny, tiny reload time. And a grenade launcher attachment just in case you don't want to reload.

And a commando perk so advanced that it allows you to knife someone from the range of a Barrett .50 cal.
The 7-kill streak reward is a space shuttle from which you can jump off and stab people. With pinpoint accuracy. Naturally, you take no falling damage because of commando pro.
