GTA4 that game was so over hyped and was not as fun as San Andreas and Vice City. Man I was heavily disappointed with that game and how I had to basically do the same dumb mission over and over and over.
COD: MW2 the story was not as good as the 1st one. And the online is just too over done the maps and and killstreaks are just too much.

I think I'm going to have to go with...man, this is hard for me. I generally have bought good games, and I can't say that any of the sequels I've brought have been "bad". Maybe, "worse than the first one", but definitely not bad.

oh, and dont be a sissy *****, go play last stand, its a blast
I would but I only have mobile Internet and I am pretty certain that it would eat through 4 meg pretty fast.

I gotta ask, how was I being a sissy? It's not like I am scared to play it.
wait? if your not playing multi then why are all your complaints related to either multiplayer or skirmish?
On the first and any other RTS I usually play the skirmish mode a few times to get s feel for the game, then I do the main campaign. So the disappointment comes in the form of skirmishes.

When I move out I can get proper Internet so maybe I will enjoy it at little more but I think I will always feel let down by the lack of building and the speed at which you can get the best units.
single player plays very little like the skirmish mode, really skirmish is there to get you used to the multi player game system since it plays very diffrent from most rts games, its much more battle oriented and in a real multiplayer match its about controlling the battlefield instead of turtling and building a massive army to crush the enemy base.

Tho I suppose you could always wait for the chaos rising expansion, its supposed to be more traditional, I dont know if they mean bringing base building back traditional but the single player of it sounds pretty awsome.

The single player is like ghost recon in a RTS setting. I wouldn't expect activision to put the ability to build in MW3 so I don't expect THQ to remove the building from a RTS.

There is no strategy in the offline skirmishes, all I did was build 10 - 15 carnifex and send them into the enemy "base" and they destroyed it easily.

I don't think I will be throwing more money at a game I already don't like, unless I watch a video about the gameplay and see a building being built.

they might not be putting base building into it but they have put rpg elements into it and most ppl seem to like thoes, you just want every rts game to be the same and not try diffrent things, and at most you had 3 or 4 carnies unless you modded the game to maek skirmish really stupid

Devil May Cry 4 I still think of dmc3 as the game that has the best combat system ever made so I was pretty hyped for it. What we got was 1 new character, completly un customizable with 1 blade, 1 gun, a scorpion "Get over here" arm and Dante with less weapons then dmc3 and the same styles from dmc3. The fact that the story was the worse dmc has ever put down(which is saying something), you had to go through all the levels twice with different characters and the pre final level being a random chance event(seriously) simply killed the dmc series right there.

No, I just went to off line skirmish and clicked both upgrades then filled the production que a few times and out they came. I have never modded a game or change any settings that aren't in game.

Your right RTS games should keep the same formula, You don't want fps (for example) to change as radically as that, I bet?

I didn't mean fps have base building, I mean take away a major part of the gameplay, like you can't have explosives or you can't melee or just have one handgun, one rifle, one fully auto machine gun and normal frags, you wouldn't be happy with those would you?

Your taking away variety to improve a game, to me that doesn't make sense, in every single other RTS game (that I can think of) or an expansion adds buildings or units to the original, except in this case were it takes most of it away.

Final Fantasy 12. Sure, some people loved it, but after I played for 100 hours and found out that I couldn't get the Zodiac Spear (i.e. the most powerful weapon in the game) just because I opened one chest near the beginning of the game... WELL FUCK THAT!! That's the most evil gimmick ever, making a player have to play your game again because you made sure they couldn't get everything on the first playthrough.

Because of this, and the secret Chaos Boss, or whoever was in that final hidden cave. There's no save point near him, and when he's almost dead, he becomes immune to Physical and Magic attacks. When you die, you have to replay that last hour of your life over just to fight him again. I couldn't believe that shit.

Final Fantasy 12 = WORST SEQUEL EVER.

And I'm sure as hell not playing FF13
