Fable 2, FFX, Far Cry 2 and many many more. There are so many bad endings out there. Also I know it sasy this an endings thread but saying the game name will suffice and if you want to go into details you really should use spoiler tags.

You sly dog, claiming FFX has a bad ending. Good one, now the jokes over and you have to accept that X had an at least decent ending.

No FFX had an awful ending that left it open for a shitty spin off sequel with few redeeming qualities. I might accept it as alright if it didn't spawn that awful game.

Most free-roam games have shitty endings, like all of the GTA games.

Most recently, God of War 3. And the strange thing is that it would've been amazing of only they gave us a proper fight with Zeus and tweaked some of the dialoge at the end. But NOOOOOOO!

Just Cause 2 wasn't epic enough to live up to the earlier line:

"Prepare to meet your demise at the hands of my ninja"

Sure there were ninjas and a dude with a rocket launcher but the final cutscene was rubbish.

Also, SW Force Unleashed was mushy crap.

AC2 has an awful final fight, they should have left it when Desmond rightly says "WTF" after Ezio's final memory.

Red Dead Redemption has the best ending to a game I have ever played.

Watching the juggernaut beat down the Ranger in the last display of the Museum. I mean does that mean we won? Or did we also lose that one, and everyone is a commie?

Well sex appeal can only go so far which is unfortunately one of the few redeeming qualities in the game. Sex appeal should be an extra silly selling point not one of the redeeming qualities.

I'm going to have to agree with Fable II. Lamesause boss(es), and an ending that didn't make me feel as though I'd accomplished anything.

I brought back my dog because I hadn't gotten some of the endgame weapons yet, and to my knowledge, you can't get some of the buried ones without the damn dog. I sure as hell don't want to be good and add more annoying NPCs to the cities, and I already had five times the amount of gold awarded with the "The One" option.

And just the "final" boss... that was stupid. Exceedingly stupid. I count the giant Spire shard before that all as the final boss, and that was just as easy.

Fallout 3 also had an extremely anticlimatic ending.

I seem to recall that the "slideshow" of your past events was supposed to have ~100 outcomes and be dramatic and whatnot. Not the case. Poorly cut together and extremely bland. Also, the pre-Broken Steel ending of "lol ur dead now. gg tho" annoyed me to no end.

I've said it before and I'll say it until the end of days... Viking: Battle for Asgard. It's such a great game, simple, yet awesome and fun to play, and then you get a piss-poor final boss fight and an ending so bloody stupid it makes me want to pull my teeth out.

Also, I have to agree with some other folks on this thread about God of War 3. What the hell?! Three games of pure distilled epicness... and this is what we get to wrap it all up? Screw you, writers. Screw you.

It didn't leave it open. They just felt the need to make a sequel.

I think FFX-2 is colouring your view of FFX.
