Badge-Earning Problem

(Note: I did try to research this before I posted. I hate harassing folks with a question when the answer is out there, but I had no luck.)

I find the badge-earning feature on Escapist to be awesome, but I don't think I'm earning them the way I'm supposed to. I'm always logged in when I watch stuff, but for example I only have the badge for watching five episodes of Extra Credits, when in fact I have watched all of them... And while I know I haven't been logged in for all of the Zero Punctuations (my account hasn't been around that long), I do know that my account has been logged in for more than my profile would have you believe.

Is there something special you have to do to get the system to recognize your view? I see them through to the end of the credits. I do happen to hit pause pretty often to read things before they fly by, does that cause problems? What the heck am I getting wrong here?????

I think it's just opening the page they're on that gives the badge. They often take a day or two to appear in your inbox though, so that might be it.

If you've already waited a while, I have no idea what's wrong since mine all appeared correctly when the Extra Credits badges were first introduced.

It pisses me off that I can't earn any more Extra Credits badges. Why couldn't they have archived the series instead of removing it altogether?

Take it easy.

First off, the badges are purely cosmetic, they don't actually do anything.

Second, give it time for the badges to arrive, I've had a few show up weeks after the apparent event that caused them, especially the cumulative badges like you're describing.
