Do you own a bank or investment firm that has failed?

Are you the owner/executive of a major american automotive firm?

Are you a taxpayer that is neither of those?

if your answer to the first 2 questions is yes and the 3rd no, then yes you can haz baelout.

if your answer to the first 2 questions is no and the 3rd yes, then no, you can not haz baelout. furthermore, you must now pay for the baelout given to the first two.

That should just about sum it up.

Honestly, I would try not to think about it too much, it will drive you nuts. As much as it sucks it looks like people are going to have to just suck it up and try to get through it. Maybe after this is all over we will have learned something, but I am not holding out too much hope.

I deserve a bailout, on my dwindling PS3 Games/Christmas Present funds. I try and save, but my room just keeps getting filled with more stuff I don't need, that aren't PS3 games or Christmas Presents.

Yeah. I'm sure not a political poster, but I think my threshold was breached. I'm trying to Calm Blue Ocean myself back into a zen state. Considering it's mid-December, and reminders to start thinking about filing my taxes are already rolling in, it's taking effort. I think it was better when it was a mystery where my taxes went.

"Are you a bank?"

"No."

"Then... DIE!"

*lightning and bankruptcy*

"Ray, when Bernanke asks you if you're a bank, you say 'YES'!"

U.S. Army Petitions Congress for Bail-Out

In a recent and bold move by the United States Armed Forces, Arms General Commander Rickard Minden and his top advisors petitioned Congress for a $4.6 Trillion Bail-Out to pay for the services of the Blackwater Security Firm. "The military has been in dire straights given the war on terror, and the Blackwater Security Industries deserves fair compesation for their efforts. The largest issue is that neither soldiers, nor their commanding officers have enough finances to pay for the services rendered." He continued, chronicling the extensive costs incurred by the war. In a formal statement to the press, AGC Minden stated,
The economic crisis has been affecting the troops,
and by the end of the day, the government needs
just as much support as the businesses that are on
American soil. The Army feels justified in it's request.

Congressional columnist and political analyst for the Washington Democratic Column, Maria Synepitova, responded in kind, stating that the economy is becoming reliant on Government Aid. "It's taught the people that no matter the trouble, free fiscal backing is only a request away. This is the sort of mind-set that could cause havoc. Considering that it's being requested internationally, this could even more of an economic crisis. Global scale costs could further the U.S. into debt."

The journalistic discussion has sparked serious political unrest amongst the citizens of the United States, creating a cleft in the country marginally larger than the ever-increasing national debt.

Members of Congress failed to comment, other than the fact that it was very upset that the three generals present had taken three separate stealth-bombers to the capital.

I think the part that scares me the most is as satirical as I tried to make that sound, it does sound vaguely believable. Man, being American is occasionally embarrassing...

No you can not.
You shouldn't have gotten yourself into such financial difficulty in the first place.
You should know that risking your money in the current economic climate is very foolish.
