What's wrong with black hair? I think it's pretty, and I usually prefer dark hair over blonde.

It's the comments more than anything. I'm really pale so I must be 'alternative' and come from a place where all people with black hair are trying to make an anticonformist statement. I'm too old for all that shit xD
