You can't ask people on a forum for a band name! Because when you're famous and someone in an interview asks how you got your band name you'll have to say "Oh just some gaming forum site...".

Fallout Boy got their name cos at an early show they asked the crowd what they should be called

i dunno, maybe something like "dark silence" or something emo-ish like that.
as much as I hate emo's, we gotta admit that they make some cool names for songs in thier little diary's

Have each band member come up with a word, and stick a few the's and of's in there for good measure.

evil angelist. this was my band name fall back. i wanted it as the name to be honest but a few minuted before i had come up with 'blood stained glass'and that was more popular with other band members.

also:
Civil warfare or civil warheads were another 2 that were in the running. not sure if they suit the musical style but they are there for the taking

Well im playing in a band. we arent really heavy but we are pretty good. we play modest mouse, oasis, The jam, Violent Femmes, and other stuff like that. we have three people. a guitarist, a singer/bassist, and a drummer. What do you escapist thing is a good band name?

Can you share some of you original songs so we can get a better idea?
