You definitely don't want Loki, there's probably at least 100 bands worldwide with that name. Harbinger is also taken by gazillions of bands who are all probably suing each other. If you decide on a band name search it on myspace, that's the best way to see if anyone else has it. All the other ones here are pretty cool actually...
Whatever you and the other members agree to. How about inviting them into this discussion?
Speaking as the former member to a Thrash band (I was a vocalist who, every once in a while, would play drums and the kazoo.) the name isn't really all that important until you start trying to gain notoriety in big business or until you're advertising... which we never reached anyway.
Names can change a thousand times before the band reaches fame, or simply dissolves. So just have fun making music with friends. [i\]Make absolutely sure[/i] that they're friends. Not just some guy you hired whose guts you hate but tolerate because he's a sick drummer.
For name suggestions, you're a death metal band, right?
One.
And what's the message you'll be trying to get out through your music? Anti-government/establishment/ or whatever? Or philosophical things? Or is it a tribute band?
Two.
And what do you base the style off of? Influences by folk music? Classic death? Or whatever.

A whole mess of factors could play in.

Lost Cause - sounds kinda cool dont it ehh?
Midnight - i looked up wikipedia and there seems like no band has taken this awesome name.
After Dark - also a cool dark name (names related to darkness and such seems to make good metal band names eh?)
