Cradle of filth. Strange name there.
CAKE. A delicious band named after a delicious food.
Tool. Do I need to say it?
The Crystal Method. A reference to a drug! How original.

Just found some old concert flyers from local bands that I've seen and found these:

John Toilet (used to be called Gutterball)
The MIBs
goodyear pimps (Goodyear sent a cease and deciset order so they change their name, now they go by "The God D**n Pimps")
Mudvayne (one of only 2 local bands I've seen that has made it big)
Blue Meanies (the other local band that made it Sort-of big)
Art of Ill Fusion
Stepdown
Justify The Means
Tru-Dat
The Factory

That's the name of the band.
How would you pronounce the name? Exclamation mark, Exclamation mark, Exclamation mark
No name's more weird than Strapping Young Lad.
It's pronounced "Chk Chk Chk" apparently, but according to the band the exclamation marks are supposed to represent any meaningless sound the reader can think of.

Maybe they've already been mentioned, but I always thought "Butthole Surfers" was a weird name.

Pink Floyd. Alexisonfire (Alexis Fire is the world's only lactating contortionist stripper). Necrophagist (though that's a wicked band name). Dying Fetus (also an amazing band). Burzum.

There are many.

Foo Fighters... I guess they fight with their foo? kung fu?
"Foo fighters" were UFO incidents reported by World War II airmen. There's probably a page on Wikipedia on this, which would save me from explaining it to you.
