Mind you, I actually like what I'm doing, it's just that everyone seems to think this is my one and only interest and I've been pretty much made a slave to it. So I'd choose one of my hobbies as a career prospect.

Are we talking the choice of fictional realities to join? If so, any universe in which (1) magic exists (2) magic can be harnessed without an innate, unlearnable gift (3) the general level of technology makes magic the easiest route to world domination (4) magic makes immortality attainable.

I spend most of my time in fantasy worlds. As awesome as it would be to invade Midkemia with the knowledge of creating explosives and modern amenities with Blue Peter/MacGuyver skill, directing your will upon the universe and having it obey would be sexy.

If I had to pick a Star Trek ship it would be the Defiant. Star Destroyer probably not because they their point defenses against smaller ships are sorta lack luster, mind you a frigate or cruiser in the ME universe wouldn't be bad, and Battlestar would be awesome!
