I really miss the 3D platformers that emphasised exploration, the Mario 64s and Banko-Kazooie's of this world. BK N&B was a solid game in its own right but it should have been a side-project AFTER they'd made BK3. I actually interviewed a couple of the devs before the game came out and they were obviously told by higher-ups to deflect questions about a true successor by making out 3D platformers were dead and there was no where for them to go (Ellissa Miller slipped up and said they'd died in the mid-90s, bless her), I asked whether Mario Galaxy showed there was still life in the genre and they couldn't answer!

I want to see what a Banjo Kazooie 3 (4) could really look like now-a-days.
Oddly enough, I was playing Banjo Kazoeeie last night and thinking why the hell isn't this a thing anymore.
(Unless of course you bought it in the same sale I did, in which case its not odd at all)

Most of the above poster have covered the main games I loved, so I'll just add Jet Force Gemini and note that modern third person shooters just aren't cute enough these days.
