You know the games im talkingabout. The ps2 games based off a book no ones read. The xbox GTA rip off you picked up for a dollar. What Games have you got from the bargain bin and though were actually fun. For me it would have to be Warpath Jurrasic Park. THis is pretty much a tekken remake with Dinosoaurs and a few elements of primal rage. I thought it was great as the controls were nice and the combat fun to watch and play. I mean its dinosaurs ripping eachothers throat outs. Whats not to love? What is your BB game.

I picked up Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders(X-Box Original), and it is one kick-ass game.

It mixes between an RTS and a hack 'n' Slash, except better than Dynasty Warriors. Much better.

Controls are intuitive, story is intriguing, and the gameplay is phenomenal. I recommend picking it up, though it is not backwards compatible.

Team Buddies for the PS1. It was a really simple strategy game that revolved around these small, extremely violent jelly-bean shaped people that would blow the ever-loving hell out of each other. It was cartoonish, it was silly, and it was addictive as hell.

I think I bought it for ten bucks back in the day. Good luck getting it at that price now; I just saw a copy on Ebay going for around $70...

Medal of honour: Airborne. I think alot of it the reasons I liked it though, were because I LOVE parachutes.

I thought Second Sight($8) was a great game, and I also loved Skygunner ($4), Urban Reign (maybe $10) and King of Fighters XI ($15 new.) Most games I get are bargain bin ones, because I usually tend to enjoy them more. Something about paying very little for a game that turns out to be great. It's more satisfying for me.

I got American McGee's Alice and Clive Barker's Undying in a package together for $10.

I also came across some game called Dead Man's Hand once for like $5 and recalled seeing a positive review of it in PC Gamer magazine. I never finished it, but it was pretty solid, if I recall correctly. Maybe I should give it another shot.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Thanks to steam I got that game and its' prequel. While Dreamfall was far from being the longest journey I still had a strangely good going through the game's interesting story.
I agree, for a game with almost no gameplay, I really enjoyed it. There are no puzzles to solve, you just have to go from place to place, but it's really well done.

With the invention of the internet, I no longer buy any games (even bargain-bin games) without at least having some idea if they're decent. It's not very spontaneous, but the last time I bought a game without any idea about it, it was Airport Tycoon. I wasn't expecting much, but it was crap beyond compare. It was the Mona Lisa of crap. If crap were people, it would be China.

Urban Chaos: Riot Response- I played the demo on the Hitman: Blood Money disc, and just had to have it. I spent dozens of hours on that game, it was so much fun. I'm surprised that there hasn't been an FPS since then that's used the "portable cover" idea. Or there might be, but I just don't know about it.

Bloody Roar: Primal Fury- Simply awesome fighting game. First and only Bloody Roar game I've played.

Cold Winter: Heard decent things, saw it for 10 bucks, bought it on impulse. Wasn't too bad actually.

Bout a 8-10 years ago perhaps, I picked up a new copy of Lords of Magic: Special Edition, this old school turn based fantasy strategy game with your basic elves, giants, undead etc. Was really fun, got it for under a fiver and was well worth it. I've not seen a copy in stores since the day I bought it. I lost the disc a while ago, just before I got a new computer, so I can't play it anymore :( Was really fun though.

I picked up Final Fantasy X as part of a 3 for $40 deal. I'd never played a final fantasy before (had been a nintendo man till PS2) and i absolutely loved it. One of the best games i've played and i knew nothing about it when buying it.

I'm going to have to cast my vote for Team Buddies, also.

Spyro the Dragon was another favorite, as childish as the game was portrayed it had that little magical edge that made it hard to put down.

I'd say either the dynasty warriors series or "the bouncer" which is a beat'em up by square enix, it's odd but a classic game.

Far Cry for $10, Kingdom Hearts for $15, and Beyond Good and Evil for $2.99. Great deals, eh?

Must say I love scrounging through the bargin bin games. You can find some real gems and highly regarded games for $10 at most really (after looking through about 328 copies of barbie and horse games though, funny how they didn't sell).

Looking at my shelf games I've gotten from the bargin bin include Far Cry, the first two of the triology of Prince of Persia games, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, KOTOR II, Doom 3, Deus Ex (I realise it's a crime I never originally had it), Condemned and the Starship Troopers FPS (one of the best awful games I'm proud to own).

Bargin bins are great, especially in Australia where everything else game-wise has skyscraper-sized prices.

I loved Blood Money, and have been planning to pick up Urban Chaos ever since playing the demo. I, too, am surprised that nobody has ripped off the "portable cover" idea. Maybe add a durability meter and some different kinds of portable cover (riot shields, garbage can lids, car doors...)

Tenchu Z for the 360 was $30 (brand new), I'd say that was a pretty damn good bargain.
Yeah man that's a great bargain. They only offered me $20 to play it.
