I keep forgetting this game is coming out, and it keeps getting pushed back, but this sale is definitely unforgettable.

Honestly I have no idea about any of that stuff. I say if you put crunch in something you prolly want it to do well though so I'd love to support the product of their labor and reward them with adulation and praise and success. Were the devs compensated properly for the crunch they were put through? No? Then I'm still not buying it.
So I'll probably be playing it in like five years. No hurry. Gaming is just so unexciting to me that I can't imagine what I'd upgrade for. But CP 2077 is a game I'd play a little sooner if I already had the hardware to near max it.
Did that gesture put food on the table? No? Then spare me the sanctimonious apologetics for abuse.I think that's more rewarding to people than overtime pay.
Yoo lets fucking go. Good choice man.Good for cyberpunk. I'll just play katana zero next week.
I mean, not buying the game is putting even less food on their table, so...Did that gesture put food on the table? No? Then spare me the sanctimonious apologetics for abuse.
Whatever image you are trying to post, it's not showing up on the forum. I appreciate the effort. Thank you. Maybe you can try finding the image or gif from another source that works.Yoo lets fucking go. Good choice man.
I see it just fine on my end. Maybe your browser is automatically blocking images from that source? I know mine does that to twitter and reddit links.Whatever image you are trying to post, it's not showing up on the forum. I appreciate the effort. Thank you. Anyway, it's just a gif of Fifteen from KZ.
When I opened it up in an incognito window, it's also broken. Hum.. Let me see if I can edit it to get it working.Huh, I got an email notice about this post and the image showed up just find in the email (some pixel character) but in the browser I'm not seeing it either, weird.
The robber barons thank you for your complacency.I think work conditions questions are best left to the workers themselves and unless they start calling for mass boycott then not buying the game over work conditions issues isn't helping anyone.
Hey guys stop being so pessimistic and indignant over games! That's my shtick and you guys have made half of my comments already!
Sure it did, there's a reason why advertising costs money. And there's not much that can compete with Obama being gifted your game as a proud cultural artifact of your country as far as publicity goes.Did that gesture put food on the table? No? Then spare me the sanctimonious apologetics for abuse.
In other words, you know the working conditions for game devs are exploitative, abusive and inhumane. You just don't give a shit.Sure it did, there's a reason why advertising costs money. And there's not much that can compete with Obama being gifted your game as a proud cultural artifact of your country as far as publicity goes.
It works like this, the advertising makes more people get the game than otherwise would have, which makes your game more successful than it would have been otherwise, so while if you didn't do crunch you'd get more free time, you also run the risk of the game not being as notable and lacking that popularity, which would also reduce your future prospects, any bonuses or promotions you would have gotten, the value of your CV also goes down because now you don't work for as a renown company any longer so you're less desirable of a hire which diminishes your future prospects.
It's like with fansubs of anime that were never localized, you could look at them as stealing the show and piraitng it, but the free advertising they provide ends up making up for that cost and adding to it since now a lot more people are aware of the show which means more people will buy figures and games and some will import it and eventually there's so many people that the show gets licensed and makes all that extra money which it would not have had it been allowed to just remain as a japan-only franchise like they intended it to at first.
