I was looking for something to buy from steam and saw GOTY edition arkham city for £20 and thought i might give it a go. Then i realised, that i did play a bit or arkham asylum on pc and the control were all over the place and difficult, was wondering if it had got any better or was a just not giving it enough time? played maybe 3/4 of a hour on a friends pc.

K+M controls were completely functional for me, but a controller is a far better choice.

I had no problems with M/K myself. I thought they worked fine. I had no issues.

K/M worked fine for me with Arkham City. Played beautifully and responsively. I wish I could say the same for Assassin's Creed.

Arkham City is saddled with GFWL though, so it's got some irritation hard-baked into it.

Yes, this.

The only bad thing about the game is GFWL. You see, it's a singleplayer game, but it's still unusable unless Microsoft are happy that you have the latest version of GFWL installed and agreed to their latest terms of use bullshit.

Other than GFWL they're pretty good ports. Arkham City apparently had some trouble on launch and GFWL continues to be stupid, but that aside they're good.

Prefer to play with a gamepad myself but the Keyboard and Mouse controls work fine as well. Games look great too!
