Its Jason Todd. This just screams him. Perhaps in this timeline, he did not take up the red hood mantle and instead became the arkham knight.
Yes. I hope it's not that obvious though. I hope he's really a completely new character.Efrit_ said:Its Jason Todd. This just screams him. Perhaps in this timeline, he did not take up the red hood mantle and instead became the arkham knight.
You might want to fix that.Steven Bogos said:Batman: Arkham Aslyum will be the fourth game in the "Arkham" series...
My money is also with Jason Tood as the Batman from "Battle for the Cowl"Adam Jensen said:Yes. I hope it's not that obvious though. There's one where Batman's arm is angled so it looks like it, but he's talking to Oracle on his wrist computer thingy. The one who is genuinely firing the gun is the Arkham Knight, who is not Batman.Worgen said:Edit: is batman shooting a gun in one of those pics? Dammit, they've gone 'shadow the hedgehog.'
If he is then they've really taken him back to basics. Like 1939 basics. Sweet. I've been waiting for that.Worgen said:I'm surprised hes not walking around with the severed heads of his dead parents, that would be really adult and brooding.

I haven't played or picked up Origins myself. However I did watch all the cutscenes or all the cutscenes of a certain character. I"m going to pick it up when I have the money. Probably the wildest I've ever seen The Joker.Able Seacat said:If you're referring to picture 5, that isn't batman, that's the villain; Arkham Knight. OT: I never got Origins as the reviews made me feel it wasn't quite as stellar as Asylum and City. But I'm very much looking forward to the new instalment and can't wait to see some gameplay.
Really? I thought he started out pretty camp.KazeAizen said:If he is then they've really taken him back to basics. Like 1939 basics. Sweet. While I don't think the original comics were quite as serious as some of them take themselves these days he wasn't exactly campy. That didn't happen until the silver age in the 50s. Nope Batman upon his debut actually used guns and killed the occasional criminal. I've been waiting for someone to make that Batman again just to shock everyone and get some of the super over zealous Batfans in a frenzy.Worgen said:Really? I don't think Batman is holding a gun.Worgen said:I'm surprised hes not walking around with the severed heads of his dead parents, that would be really adult and brooding.

Its already been pointed out twice that the pic I was referring too was someone else. He just looks kinda like batman.PeaceRider said:I don't think Batman is holding a gun.Worgen said:I'm surprised hes not walking around with the severed heads of his dead parents, that would be really adult and brooding.

If it's pic number 3 you are looking at, it might be Batman's grappling hook device.
I was thinking that exact thing. I think Jean-Paul Valley is the Arkham Knight.Quiotu said:I have another theory in mind.[SNIP'D PICS]
didn't Keatons Batman kill people?KazeAizen said:Nope Batman upon his debut actually used guns and killed the occasional criminal. I've been waiting for someone to make that Batman again just to shock everyone and get some of the super over zealous Batfans in a frenzy.
oooh, or maybe an alternate universe B-man. alternate universe versions are always funLegion said:I am predicting an anti-hero who is essentially Batman but willing to get their hands dirty. So they will fight crime but are not bothered about killing any of the bad guys, which puts them at odds with Batman.
Only in Batman Returns and that was more of Tim Burton being able to go nuts. However it seems most people don't talk about that one. Also they seem to memory hole that Batman did once kill people. Like they've been trying to memory hole the Adam West Batman for being too silly. Batfans are some of the most fickle fans I've ever seen.Mr Ink 5000 said:didn't Keatons Batman kill people?KazeAizen said:Nope Batman upon his debut actually used guns and killed the occasional criminal. They could always go with the "Arkham Knight was Batman all along. His scarred psyche created a split personality." Cuz you know, why stick to beating just a single dead horse when you can beat them all?Vivi22 said:In other words, basically the most predictable way they could possibly go with it.
