MoS's first teasers made it seem like it would have a decent throughline of poignant character narrative, and we all know how that film turned out.
Yeah, Snyder doesn't really have a good track record with the philosophy and ramifications of Superman. That said, there is great potential for some real thought in the story, I'm just not going to hold my breath for it.
