Battle for Wesnoth

Recently i've been checking out some indie games and i recently found one called Battle for Wesnoth. It's an interesting turn based stratagy game with some rpg elements.

Bassicaly any thoughts you have about it or if you've played it i just wanted to see if any one knew about it.

I use to play Battle for Wesnoth. It was fun for awhile and some of the fan-made skirmish maps were really well made. For being a free game, it was better than a lot of hexagonal strategy games I've played. Could have easily been made by Avalon Hill.

Yeah, I've played it. I stopped though, because I got bored with it. It was fun while it lasted.

yeah, I enjoy RTS games but i was alwase horrible at management. turn based is much easer that way. Just thought i'd try to spread the indie love.

I usually hate Indie things but I just want to play a turn based game as I gave Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn back to my friend. I usually prefer RTS's though hence why Ive gone back to playing Command and Conquer Red Alert 1

Edit: Oh, yes, Wesnoth. I remember playing Wesnoth, I haven't played it in a while, now that I think about it, it was probably out of frustration in that my units never seemed to be able to hit anything, or the enemies had units that did just slightly less (1954 pounds, to be precise) than a ton of damage. In any case, it is a good game. And, no, that is not advertisement, comrade.
