I don't know if any of you have ever played Battle for Wesnoth [http://wesnoth.org], but it's a freeware turn based strategy game I found out about a while back, but didn't ever take it up as it was a fairly big file {approx. 140mb} to download.
Now I'm using Linux as opposed to Windows, I found that Wesnoth actually comes prebundled with it, so I installed it earlier and gave it a try.
It's pretty good fun to play and although it's a little tricky to pick up to begin with the tutorials help a lot in explaining it. It includes the tutorials, as well as a single player campaign and the option to play scenarios against AI opponents, against other players {hotseat,LAN, and internet}... I was wondering if anyone else here plays it - if so we should arrange a game.
