Battle.net Could Host Activision Games

I'm very surprised Black Ops isn't using Battle.net, and I'll be even more surprised if a CoD PC game doesn't use it by the end of next year.
Activision and Blizzard have been married for quite a while now and seeing as things are really starting to come (excuse the pun) together in the bedroom, I'm sure we can expect to see a child of pure evil and malevolence born into the gaming world any day.
Nail on the head there. B.net 1 chat was no glorious feature. It was about as good as WoW trade channels. Constantly spammed by bots trying to get you to buy gold and items from their sites.Denamic said:

While I don't deny B.net has a few problems that need fixing. How exactly are the examples you stated a problem (Besides chat channels)? And where do you get the information that it was a resource hog? I run it using a stock CPU on a 5 year old computer and it runs fine. Also, what multiple player scams?The_root_of_all_evil said:

And that's without bringing in controversies like bnetd, RealID, resource hogging, multiple player scams, no chat channel systems and direct link to Facebook.
While opinions are all well and good, it's somewhat disheartening to see it reported as truth rather than op. ed.
Everything in there is fact, even if you don't like it because it's in some way associated with Activision. As for your other things-
RealID - a good thing in its current implementation. Very handy.
Player Scams - happen in pretty much everything.
Chat channels - are being added.
Facebook - Also very convenient for people who want to use it. If you don't want to use it, you don't have to.
