Being the Gaming Rep for my university's Technology society I have the decision on what games we buy. Obviously anything we do buy has to be local multiplayer friendly otherwise one person is hogging the console and uni firewall restrictions make PC gaming nigh-impossible without having a laptop LAN party.
I was tempted to buy both BF3 and MW3 (one for the PS3 and one for the xbox to allow both to be played simultaneously) but it has come to my attention the BF3 may not have a local multiplayer. Being the poor student that I am I can't buy it for my own personal use until it goes on sale so my question is this, can anyone confirm whether or not BF3 has a local multiplayer and if it does, how many people can play split screen?
Side note, I assume MW3 does too since all of the other CoD's did but if anyone could confirm that too that'll be great.
