Gasp! A thread that's not about the decline of the gaming industry or Mass Effect 3! Well, I figured it might be nice to discuss the slew of fixes and changes the patch has brought us. (This is from the 360 point of view). So I'll just run down on my thoughts about it.

Acquiring the Patch
This was a bit irritating to me. I had the 170 MB patch prompt me in the beginning when launching the game, but then I was prompted with a 1 GB patch that claimed to be the Multiplayer server renting patch. There wasn't any indication that I needed both, but I wasn't able to find any servers without applying the new patch. This is stupid; if I need both, tell me that I need both. But fine, whatever, I'll go through the motions.
My Observations
~ Holy !@#$, they mercifully added a Quit button to the end-of-round screen. I can't even begin to explain how badly I've wanted this.
~ Staying with your squad appears to be now a part of matchmaking; not a single game I played today with a buddy was I put on a different side than him.
~ The game in general appears to be more responsive, I suspect that's partly due to the increased speed of being able to aim after sprinting, which is a really common occurrence for me.
~ The custom server thing is confusing. I somehow managed to hop into a game that had 200 Rush tokens for attackers. I wasn't using the server browser to do this, and it was annoying, I find 75-100 tokens to be a well balanced number, the higher the Rush tokens, the harder it is for the defending side to win and the more appealing it is for Defenders to camp.
~ There's no indication of whether or not these modified servers have an effect on Rank. Through the server browser, it's easy to filter out Ranked and unranked, but through Quick Match?
~ I absolutely love the ability to see the map rotation from the Pause menu during a game. It's nice to know what's coming up.
~ I haven't gotten a chance to really experiment with guns enough to know any specific changes, however, there's two things I note with great interest; The MG36 no longer appears to have an Extended Mag, and for some what-the-eff reason, the original 46 Round RPK (which is supposed to be the equivalent of the M27) now has a whopping 200 round magazine with the Extended Mag. What the hell? It takes less time to reload than an AEK...
~ Map icons appear to be sharper and now have drop shadows. Great update there!
~ Maybe it's just because I played it after playing copious amounts of MW3, but I found myself dying quite a lot.
~ Every single one of my preset classes was reset to default.
~ The changes to weapon attachments are noticeable and now it's not just as simple as getting the Foregrip and Extended Mag/Heavy Barrell on each gun, you have to consider how it changes the characteristics
~ Mortars can no longer be used in protected spawn. THANK YOU.
~ I'm happy to report USAS/12G FRAG is no longer abused because it's no longer anywhere near as a effective.
Bugs and Remaining Complaints
~ Way to fucking ruin Sharqi Penninsula by adding in a Chopper to a previously one-tank map. We now have idiots using the Choppers to get on the tops of buildings that are completely inaccessible to a defender, on a map that was never designed for aerial support.
~ Certain maps no longer have Conquest mode. What gives with this?
~ On Sharqi Penninsula, I was unable to destroy a tank with 3 C4s (oinly disabling). Seeing as before, only two were needed, this is annoying to me; there's only one class apart from support that can directly deal with vehicles, and I hate Engineer.
~ The laser sight on the L96 is horribly off.
~ This is small, but it annoys me that the end-of-round screen doesn't tell us what map is next and what side we'll be on; BC2 did this and it was nice to know ahead of time what strategy you're going to use.
~ The Squad Menu is laggy as all fuck. Seriously, it brings the whole game to a crawl.
~ Twice, me and my friend had our XBoxes freeze completely (something I've almost never seen before) in one day, consistently when quitting a game.
Anyways, that's about it for me, at least for the time being. Feel free to add your thoughts
